A lovely peaceful, well equipped gîte with lovely kind and attentive hosts. The pool and garden were lovely and there is a good range of shops and services in the next door village including a good baker's and a friendly bar/restaurant where we had a good meal. It's a pretty area with the river valley and picturesque villages, historic towns, châteaux and markets both small and larger. (we particularly enjoyed Thouars both inside and out.) The cool stone cottage and the pool were very welcome in the heatwave as we're the hosts' suggestions of outings taking in our interests and that could also be out of the hot sun. Thank you for a great holiday.

This is a lovely peaceful property with a good range of shops and services nearby in the next door village. Wendy and Joel were friendly, attentive and welcoming hosts giving us lots of helpful information about what to see and do. It is an interesting and beautiful region with some pretty villages and valleys, historical and cultural towns and chateaux as well as markets and attractions. The pool at the property was lovely and most refreshing in the hot weather and the garden is well set up with games, tables and seats to enjoy the peace of the French countryside. The gîte is well equipped and the stone cottage a cool, restful place to enjoy a great holiday. Many thanks.

Heel prettig en gezellig verblijf gehad op een prachtige locatie en in een zeer complete en karakteristieke vakantiewoning. De tuin en zwembad zijn een oase om tot rust te komen (ook geschikt voor kinderen door omheining en beschermend hekwerk bij het zwembad). De ruime opzet met 2 andere gastenverblijven en de zeer gastvrije eigenaren maken het verblijf de ideale combinatie van gezelligheid en toch voldoende ruimte om met het eigen gezin rustig de dag op te kunnen starten. Tevens is het een ideale uitvalsbasis voor het ontdekken van de mooie kastelen en natuur in de omgeving.

Très bon séjour, très bon accueil, jardin partagé très agréable et idéal pour les familles. À 30 min du Futuroscope. Puy du fou accessible mais un peu loin. Tennis possible à proximité. Maison qui reste fraîche l'été. On n'a manqué de rien. Les petits bémols : pas de fenêtre dans la chambre ni dans la salle de bains, mais pour les vacances passent si vite qu'on oublie vite.
