The location is spectacular with many places walkable including restaurants, grocery, bakery, u-bahn and buses that you can get anywhere. The apartment left a lot to be desired for what we paid for granted, we know the price was inflated for marathon weekend. The photos showed a more comfortable space with rugs and pillows in the living room, and there were none so the apartment echoed terribly. The espresso machine was broken, the bathroom sink leaked leaving the bathroom floor wet and slippery and we weren’t given enough linens, toilet paper and trash bags for our group of 7 people. When we asked the hosts for assistance with the items, they accommodated extra linens only but ignored the others. We looked up the normal price for the apartment and it seems appropriate for what you get, much more so than the price we paid during marathon weekend.

Spot on for a short stay in the city

The apartment isn't overly modern or luxurious, but it's clean and has the basic requirements for a self catering stay. Beds were comfortable, area is central and quiet, and was better value for 5 adults than a hotel. Wifi worked fine and check in easy. I would happily stay again.

The host was great and great location but the actual apartment was dirty. We wanted to use the extra blankets in the closet and they had stains all over them. The mattress were very uncomfortable as well, the had the box spring as one bed and the top as another bed . The shower has a gap in it so when you shower it pours all over the floor, we were only allowed 2 towels and had to buy more because it was so wet. The floors were so dirty inside that our socks looked like we ran outside. The utensils in the place were dirty when we got there. The trip was good, the place was just not it. We are just concerned about the hygiene of the property.

There were lots of positives to this property. The host was very responsive when I messaged with queries, the beds were comfortable, it was only a 30 minute walk into the centre of Berlin and the apartment was light and airy. There were a few issues unfortunately. I didn’t research the area enough so when our children (aged 21, 19 & 13) went to the local shop on Saturday evening around 7pm, they encountered several people who were under the influence of drink and drugs, some of whom approached them, which was concerning and made us feel a bit apprehensive. When we googled the area we discovered that the area was known for drug taking. Having said that, we went out on Sunday evening and we didn’t witness anything. There was a lot of litter on the pavements which was a shame. The decor needs refreshing as the walls were marked and the bedroom door handle was broken. All of the double beds only had single duvets which wasn’t a massive issue and maybe is a European thing but we hadn’t never experienced this before. The shower took a long time to warm up and would go cold at times. The bathroom was quite cramped so for an apartment which holds up to a maximum of 12 people, it was quite small. I also didn’t realise that there wasn’t an oven at the apartment but again that was probably in the description which I missed. If you’re looking for an apartment which is cheap and cheerful but not special, then this ticks all the boxes

Tolle Lage, Wohnung okay

Das Apartment ist gut an den ÖPNV angebunden und bietet vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Laufweite (unbedingt die Brotmanufaktur ausprobieren).Beim Apartment selber hatten wir ein paar Problemchen - 2 Tage kein Internetzugang, defekter Wasserkocher, nicht vollständig Schließendes Wohnzimmerfenster. Alles in allem aber noch okay.

Gute Lage mit wenig Zeit im Apartment

Die Wohnung liegt zentral und gut angebunden. Check in lief gut. Leider ist das Bad schimmelig und am Waschbecken sind die Armaturen locker. Zum Übernachten ohne viel Zeit im Apartment geeignet.

Ferienwohnung mit Potential

Die FeWo ist geräumig und hell. Betten sind gut, Dusche ist neu. Einige Details sind aber verbesserungsbedürftig, z.B: - im Bad gibt es keine Haken für Handtücher, Kulturbeutel etc. - Pfannen und Töpfe sind hinüber - Licht in zwei Zimmern lässt sich nur gemeinsam von Flur aus ein- und ausschalten - Fotos im Inserat suggerieren mehr Komfort als vorhanden
