We had a wonderful week in London here! Slightly away from the tourist hustle and bustle in the best way and still super convenient to everything! We ate dinner locally, Kennington Tandoori was amazing, as was the Prince of Wales and the White Bear, all within EASY walking distance, as is a grocery store. Bren was an amazing host, very responsive and helpful! A+++++++++
Great coffee shops and pub nearby. Nice and quiet without the road noise. Peaceful garden in back. Host was responsive to questions and provided us with juice, milk, Prosecco, and bread which was so nice!
Convenient to Kennington Station (Underground). Bus route close by too.
Our family of five (boys of 17,15,13) spent three days on London sightseeing and enjoying the city, the apartment is in a great location close to bus stops and subway but also walking distance (20 mins) to the Thames. We had a great time and we appreciated Bern quick response to any question as well as flexibility to leave luggage before checkin time and after checkout.
My family of 6 had a fantastic stay at Bren's flat. The Kennington station underground is a short walk away, as well as bus stops. The location really cannot be beat.
Each room is furnished nicely and was clean and quiet. We really appreciated having fresh milk, orange juice, bread, and a bottle of prosecco to relax with upon a long day of travel. The quiet back garden was so peaceful.
Fantastic stay and will definitely rent again next time we are in London.

Thank you soooooooooo much for your review Ken, I can’t tell you how much it meant, you are ALWAYS welcome back!! Bren
We had a really good time in the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are enough towels, blankets, TV and whatever else you need.
Our host was also very friendly and provided us with some bread, milk, butter, biscuits and juice for the first evening, communication worked very well at all times.
The nearest subway station is only 5 minutes away.
If we go back to London, we would choose this accommodation again at any time.

Mandy and her party were a dream to host, thank you so very much for picking my home to be your home in London, always welcome to come back and it has been a pleasure to have looked after you all, see you next time! Bren
We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Bren's home. The location is ideal--a great, quiet neighborhood with local shops and pubs (one in particular that Bren recommended was our favorite) and with very easy access to underground stations and buses to get you anywhere you want to go in little time. We mostly walked and enjoyed exploring as we did. The place itself was very comfortable for our family of five. Great kitchen and eating space. Importantly, the host is very responsive and helpful. He even left us some fresh bread, butter, OJ, milk and Prosecco for when we arrived hungry after a long flight. We would love to come back in the future.

Ahhhhhhhh, thank you so much Cathy, you are most certainly welcome back at any time, the perfect guest’s!!! Bren
This location, away from the touristy hustle and bustle of downtown London, made us feel as if we were living in London versus vacationing there. The short 5 minute walk to the Underground station enabled us to travel in and out to see all the sights. We enjoyed returning to the "neighborhood" after our busy days touring the city. -Found several great places to eat in or bring food back to the house right around the corner. We especially enjoyed Pizza Express and Sally White Bakery. The house worked for our family group of 3 adults and 3 teenagers. We did have to coordinate and stagger shower times due to there only being one full bath. The half bath helped somewhat when it was time for everyone to get ready. We appreciated finding some food basics waiting for us in the refrigerator after a long travel day. We especially enjoyed coffee and wine on the back garden patio. Bren was very helpful and easy to get in touch with before and during our stay.
Our family of 5 had a recent 4 night stay. Starting off with the good, the OJ, milk, fresh bread and butter were thoughtful and much appreciated.
Most of the property was clean when it came to kitchen and bathroom surfaces. However, overall the place was rundown. The carpet was very dirty and the paint on the floorboards was worn away, paint was peeling, and a portion of the ceramic floor tiles were missing in the bathroom. The light fixture in the 2nd bath was missing the globe, leaving exposed bulbs. The same fixture used a pull to turn on and off. Unfortunately, the pull, a soft, stuffed novelty item, was very dirty and completely unappealing considering that the grunge had accumulated in a bathroom; no telling what germs lied within.
There are issues with the heating system. The two thermostats did not work. Owner said to control boiler manually, setting it to either on or off. The only two radiators that work are on the lower level. Therefore, the lower level needs to get uncomfortably warm for the heat to rise to levels 2 and 3.
On another note, the bedrooms weren't really set up for guests. There was next to no area to store unpacked clothing but no spots to open your suitcase other than the floor. Although there were some drawers, they were filled with the owners belongings.
The neighborhood lacks charm and is pretty rough just a few blocks away. On the plus side, Underground and bus stops are convenient.
To summarize, this is not a ‘luxury’ apartment.
We had a great stay in Bren‘s House. The Check-in was very simple and all Communication before the arrival was very direct and friendly.
As we arrived the most important things e.g. Milk, Butter, etc. were placed in the kitchen. Thanks for that Bren!
The House included all the important things for a great London trip. The next underground was 5 mins away. A Supermarkt and a lot of pubs are also around the area. The House is in a Sideway. So no Sounds from the streets were hearable.
We had a great vaccation with our Family here and would stay here again.
