Set back from a central London street, inside this large, high ceiling three bedroom house offers calm and quiet, yet is only seconds walk from the bustling restaurants, bars, shops and cinemas of the trendy ¨Beach¨ area of the Fulham Road. It is also just minutes walk away from the Kings Road and River Thames and the amenities and museums of South Kensington. This Victorian house has recently been extensively modernized, opening up walls to make the rooms large, bright and airy and decorated by an interior designer to offer modern furnishings and original artwork whilst retaining its original charm. Spread over the four floors are a modern kitchen with large dining area, a double living room with several sofas, flat screen TV, DVD etc, a large master bedroom with luxury ensuite bathroom, two further double bedrooms and a further bathroom. The house has its own, totally secluded, 50 foot garden at the rear as well as off street parking to the front.

A Chelsea Oasis

We had a great stay at this property.The property is as described, clean, and very well appointed. We enjoyed all of the spaces, from cooking in the kitchen, to dining and relaxing in the sitting areas. It's just beautiful, and the weather even allowed us to spend a couple mornings in the garden.The location of the property is fantastic, with several bus stops within a block that can get you to Central London or the tube. We had no issues getting around and seeing everything on our list.Overall, communication was great, check-in was easy, and the property was enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Ideal spot for a week in London

Once upon a time in Chelsea

For my first time in London, couldn't ask for a better location or residence. Absolutely loved it & the neighborhood. The house is decorated in a fun and lively manner and we especially enjoyed the beautiful garden.

Perfect Chelsea Location! Wonderful Home!

Our group of 4, two couples, stayed at this lovely home for approximately 9 days and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Martine, the host, was communicative and responsive and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The home was exactly as described and as the pictures represented, one would argue the home was even better than listed. It was wonderfully appointed and had everything we could have needed during our stay. The location was excellent and has easy access to public transportation which made getting around incredibly easy. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to London.

The apartment was lovely! The location was great with lots of restaurants and stores near by. We were close to two cinemas, Brompton cemetary as well. The home was well decorated with lots of room.

Wonderful house and location

We were there for a week with our grown daughters to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Lovely house, the backyard was such a bonus! Location couldn’t be beat - bus stop right outside the gate and a quick ride to the tube station. One thing to take note of is the stairs. House is on 4 levels

Beautiful house, but close to big road

It was a beautiful stay during our Vacation. The Inside was perfect. Unluckily I was not aware of the size of both streets next to the house and the frequent ambulances passing the crossing. Good situated in London and good bus services to the center.

Fantastic value in great Chelsea location

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. This home is clean, well appointed, comfortable, spacious for a small family, convenient to groceries, buses, pubs, Stamford Bridge, the Underground, and more. Martine is responsive and communicative, and was a great host. Highest recommendation for this great property! But don't tell anyone because we want to make sure it's available when we return. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful House in Excellent Area

Our family of four adults and two children (8 and 10) stayed here for a week in May, and it was perfect for our needs. It is a tall, narrow London house with lots of stairs, in a great area for sightseeing and shopping via bus or tube or even on foot. There are food shops within a block. The house is luxurious, modern and surprisingly quiet inside, with interesting art and a very private, shady garden (complete with blooming jasmine!). It was a real find and we would love to return one day.

Lovely house with beautiful decor.

We have a really enjoyable stay at this property. The decor and furnishings are beautiful and very homely. It is very well equipped and has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is great for enjoying Chelsea and Kensington - lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. Don’t be put off by the busy road, as it gets surprisingly quiet through the night and we did not find it an issue. We hope to return one day! Thank you.

Ten days in London

Four adults and two children aged 6 and 3 enjoyed staying in this delightful home which had everything that we needed, is in first class condition and is well located with easy access to most parts. Had to get used to stairs but that’s London if you want a house! Location is great with shops, restaurants, pubs all nearby on Fulham or Kings Road. Communication with the host via what’s app was easy. Martine, you have a lovely home and we would definitely stay again in similar circumstances.

Perfect stay with X-mas

We stayed this X-mas in the house of the family Alden with 3 teenagers. It had all the needs in the house for a perfect holiday. The kitchen and the beds were good, parking place in front of the house. Harrods/Oxfordstreet/musea are 10 minutes by bus or a 30 minutes walk and even across the road was a churc with a beautiful mass. The river thames was only al 5 minutes walk. Also nice pubs, shops, supermarkets and restaurants in the street. The house has a modern and cosy atmophere and we had a wondelfull time. Greetings from fam Bos Apeldoorn The Netherlands

We have stayed at this property on a previous trip with our family (my husband and I, plus our young-adult children) and enjoyed every minute of it, once again, for our 2-week holiday! The home and garden are absolutely beautiful; it is conveniently located in Chelsea within walking distance of shops, restaurants, tube station, and a beautiful old church (where we attended Christmas Mass); and the owners are prompt communicators who provide clear instructions for the use and safety features of their home. We are already planning our next trip and hope to stay here, again. Happy New Year, Martine! 🙂

Roomy, perfectly located place with a few things to take note of in advance

This property was very nice, clean, well maintained and Martine was very responsive. It was also in a great location. However, I would give this 3.5 stars however based on other stays. We had a full house (6 family members) and a few things we wish we would have known before we booked: 1) There is only 1 proper shower, 2) internet/wireless doesn't work well beyond the kitchen and main level and 3) there isn't enough hot water for everyone to get ready at the same time in the morning. The above is just so you are informed before arriving. The place is very nice and in a great location. I would stay there again, but with less people.

Simply Perfect

This was simply a perfect house for our week in London. It’s extremely comfortable and well furnished. We loved the location because it was a short walk to both King’s Road and to the Earl’s Court tube stop (Piccadilly and District lines). In addition, Fulham Road has much to offer in terms of restaurants, cafes, shops, and bus lines. The host Martine is very friendly and responsive. We will be back!

Excellent séjour à londres

Très belle, maison sur quatre niveaux : salle à manger et cuisine au premier niveau, salon et wc au deuxième, grande suite parentale au troisième et enfin deux chambres et salle de bain au dernier niveau. Les bus pour aller dans les quatre directions sont à deux pas. Stade de Chelsea à 500 m. La propriétaire a été très réactive à toutes nos demandes. Seul petit inconvénient, la proximité d’un hôpital entraîne quelques sirènes durant la nuit.
