The Manin is a welcoming apartment with stunning views on Campo Santo Stefano, one of the nicest locations of the historic centre, few steps from the famous Accademia Bridge, in the San Marco District.



It is found at the 2nd floor of an historic Palazzo, it is accessible directly from the square, it has been recently renovated to the highest standards and finally offered to our privileged guests.



Full of natural light, elegantly furnished with some renown designer pieces, the Manin is truly comfortable for everyone, be it a family with children or a romantic couple. Authentic Terrazzo Veneziano flooring, antique wooden beamed ceiling, precious mosaic tiles in both bathrooms, luxury shower cabins are only some of the highlights of this property.



Beside the location, the great plus of the Manin apartment is definitively the picturesque view on the square enjoyable from the living room and the Istria Stone balcony where you can enjoy an aperitif or a cup of good coffee reading a book and observing the slow pace of the city life.



It is laid out on about 80 square meters and is composed of a living and dining room with two comfortable sofas and a table for up to 6 people, a functional kitchen equipped with brand new appliances, the main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second smaller bedroom with a second bathroom. In the main bedroom there are 2 single beds that can be also used as king size bed on request; the second bedroom can be accessed through a sliding wall in the living room (this room can be completely separated and closed from the living room) and is equipped with a queen bed (160 cm wide by 200 cm long mattress).



Every room is equipped with air-conditioning system and there is climate-controlled heating, Wi-Fi internet connection and Smart TV in the living room. All-in-all the Manin is a truly charming and exclusive home, for both short and long stays.



About the location: possibly the best in Venice’s historical centre for its quietness, beauty and central position. The Vaporetto stop and the grocery stores are only few minutes’ walking distance and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés nearby, while the high-street luxury brand boutiques are all in a 10 minutes’ walking distance.

I have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world, so, I know what to expect. The property manager makes it sound as though they will act, as a concierge, and, in some ways, they did. But, basically for a vacation rental, I expect the property to be well maintained, and accurately described, with an attitude to fix if something is adverdantly missed. That was not my experience in this property. The coffee pot was so corroded it would not make a pot of coffee. We informed our contact the first day. Despite the fact we were told they would tell the maid immediately, we never heard from anyone. We informed our contact there were no paper towels in the property. "They are supposed to be there". No further response. We almost missed our water taxi, because, the instructions on where to find the water taxi is vague. Walk accross the street, doesn't really explain. (Walk towards the tour busses you see from the parking lot, then follow the path to the river). A pin to the meeting point in google maps would really have solved the problem. But the overriding disgusting thing was the brown spots on the wall above the toilet. The fact there are no lights in the two story walk up hall is dangerous at night. The tiny bedroom with a queen bed (you cannot walk around it) is funky; the barn door does not provide privacy, one can hear everything occuring in the living room, because it is not a sealed door. Location is great, but, this property manager has a lot to do to get a five star

Lovely apartment in a great location

We so enjoyed our stay in the Manin apartment. We've rented more than 15 apartments over the years and this was our favorite location. The bathrooms were really great. One of the few time times we didn't have to buy bath mats to prevent slipping. Overall a very good experience. Also, special thanks to Truly Venice for being available for questions and requests.

Perfect central location

We would definitely stay again! This was a great place to be based for a week: warm and comfortable even when chilly outside. We cooked some nights and eat out on others. Recommended.

This property is advertised properly. It is a 2 1/2 floor walk up. (no biggie) Very clean and very comfortable. May I suggest to the management acquiring a full length mirror and a 10 cup coffee maker. Had a great time and we would gladly stay again! Cathy L

Good apartment in the San Marco sestiere

This property is exactly as described in the listing, with one regular bedroom with en suite bath, and a separate bedroom that is entered from the living area, which is made private with a large barn door. The second bathroom has a shower, WC and bidet. The neighborhood is relatively quiet given its location close to the grand canal, and the apartment is withing easy walking distance to most of the historic center of the city. Truly Venice, who operate this property, were professional, highly responsive, and followed through with everything as promised. They booked a water taxi for us from Marco Polo airport, and arranged to have a porter meet us at the dock in Venice with their representative when we checked in. The Truly Venice representative was right on time, and made sure to show us the apartment, and explain all of the details regarding Venice's strict trash collection regime, the location of all of the amenities and the details of the neighborood. She also booked a return taxi for us, and organized the same porter to help with checkout. We can enthusiastically endorse this apartment and Truly Venice.
