A traditional cottage which has been renovated to provide a welcoming home from home, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their holiday in comfort. Close to Glencoe Village, on the shores of Loch Leven, with natural private garden and sitting out areas, you’re surrounded by wonderful lochside views and mountain views including the Pap of Glencoe & Aonach Eagach. Cosily heated with oil central heating, complimented by electric heating and a welcoming open fire, you’ll feel cosy and warm in Quarter Deck Gardens.
There’s loads of living space downstairs which ensures that you’ll have a relaxing, sociable holiday with the benefit of great connectivity from Wi-Fi and the Smart TV. Comfortably accommodating a family or group of friends, the three bedrooms sleep six people on great quality, comfy beds. Set up for flexible sleeping arrangements, there is a bedroom with King-size bed which can be made up as twins on request, a bedroom with a small double bed and another large bedroom featuring two single beds, which can be made up as a kingsize bed on request. The patio doors in the living room lead onto small sitting out area in the rear garden which is a lovely private spot and ideal for evening drinks or morning coffee. The natural rear garden is an ideal spot for taking in the stunning, far reaching views of the spectacular Glencoe scenery views including the famous Pap of Glencoe & Aonach Eagach. Built into the hillside, there are steps up to another seating area, and the storage shed where bicycles can be stored safely.
Glencoe is a lovely highland village with many amenities including a minimarket, cafe, hotel, pub, filling station, church and dentists and there are some fabulous restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby, all serving good, local food. Steeped in history, Glencoe is surrounded by the most breath-taking scenery of mountains and lochs and offers a large range of sports and outdoor activities, including winter sports, hill walking, climbing, mountaineering, fishing and water sports, mountain biking and golfing. The nearby village of Ballachulish, just about 1 mile’s walk from the cottage, has a small supermarket, tourist information with coffee shop and a bar/ restaurant. Quarter Deck Gardens is conveniently located, lying between Fort William and Ben Nevis in the Lochaber area (16 miles), known as the ’Outdoor Capital of the UK’, and the popular town of Oban, the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’ and ‘Gateway to the Isles’ (33 miles).
