We stayed almost two weeks in Suzy’s apartment. Location is great with plenty of eating options along Argyle Street as well as an easy walk to Kelvingrove galleries, Byres Road, etc. All amenities were exactly as described. The only downside was a lack of nearby parking, but this isn’t applicable only to Suzy’s place. Highly recommended and very enjoyable,
Flat was spacious, clean and bright. Plenty to do in the area with a diverse range of food options. Was really nice having the Sainsbury’s close by. Did rent a car and had no trouble getting parking relatively close by. Would happily book this unit again. Cheers
Roomy flat just a few blocks from the University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove museum. Very convenient for accessing Finnieston and West End. Two living areas allow folks to spread out. Note that the flat is immediately above a pub that hosts live music Thursdays+. They shut down the music by ~2330.
Everything was fabulous. Plenty of room. Clean and fresh. Just be mindful that during the day in the week ( weekends are free) you will have to pay for parking on a metre from 8am until 6pm.
Great part of the city with park nearby. It is above a pub with live music so a bit of noise on weekend nights. Not just the music but loud patrons spilled into the streets. If you are a light sleeper and like to go to sleep before midnight bring good earplugs. Beds were comfortable and showers had plenty of hot water. We only had breakfast there. Coffee maker was provided but it was a challenge to find correct pods locally.
This was the best accommodation we've stayed in. Well equipped, amazing kitchen, very clean, so much space and amazing location. En suite bathroom was a bonus, with a great shower. Lots of places to unpack and keep personal items. Walking distance to countless shops, cafes, and amenities. Easy bus access.
Others mentioned music on Fridays and Saturdays. This didn't bother us at all. It was really only for 2 hours on those 2 nights and it was folk music.
I highly recommend this flat.
We were visiting as a family to attend a wedding in Glasgow and wanted to find somewhere that gave us room to all have our own space and allowed us to enjoy Glasgow. This flat certainly met these requirements! It is in a fantastic location and easy walk away from great pubs, restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. It was also very close to Kelvingrove park and gallery- which was well worth a visit!
We had a minor issue with one of the showers when we arrived, but Suzy was very quick to have that fixed. She remained very quick to respond while we were there - which we greatly appreciated.
There is a pub right below the flat and, as others have mentioned, it can be fairly noisy Thursday - Saturday. However, it truly wasn’t an issue for us and did stop around midnight.
I would recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere that gives them easy access to this wonderful city!

Nice location, some minor changes would make a big difference
Really nice place and location is great. 10 minute walk to Hydro/SECC and about 20 mins or so into the main bulk of restaurants and bars in Sauchiehall street. Property was largely clean although we had to re-wash all of the mugs and some plates - perhaps the dishwasher hadnt finished it's cycle before emptying?
The listing states music on Fri/Sat night but we found this was the case Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun although it does end around midnight.
Property is well equipped and had most things we needed. The beds aren't particularly comfortable though, and the main bedroom with the en-suite has a very squeaky bed - the slightest turn in the bed and it squeaks!
It's a nice place but could be improved with just a bit more attention to detail and a bed upgrade.
This spacious apartment is a beautiful example of traditional Glaswegian charm in a fabulous location in Finnieston. You can take your pick of the many independent bars, pubs, and restaurants on your doorstep. We particularly enjoyed Crabshakk and the Finnieston but could have happily worked our way up the street! Also a short but picturesque walk to Kelvingrove through the lovely park. As highlighted, you will hear music over the weekend but this only added to the charm - no thumping bass just a Ceilidh band and people singing along and having a great time. If we could offer a couple of suggestions it would be to add some home comforts such as some pods for the coffee machine - we bought different types but couldn’t get it to work. Also, some of the lighting was out of bulbs or flashed when turned on and a staircase light is required. My dad tripped several times, it would be much safer with better lighting. All in all, great stay and would definitely recommend!
Our stay at this VRBO was a good experience overall, with a few quirks worth noting. The location is great, making it easy to get around, and the host was very responsive and approachable, which we really appreciated. For the price, the value is definitely there, especially if you don’t mind a few minor inconveniences.
One thing to be aware of is that the property is located above a bar, as mentioned in the listing. The noise is very noticeable, especially on weekends when the band plays, and it’s definitely audible in the space, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Like I said, they call it out in the description but just be aware.
The furniture seems to be from the big box store, giving it a modern look, but it felt a bit flimsy and wasn’t the most comfortable. You can kind of tell in the photos, but i want to call out that the beds are very low to the ground and a very unsupportive, which might be challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The main shower had low water pressure, and the head is above a rise in the tub so you kidn of feel like you're showering on a hill. The floors are quite uneven and springy in spots, so those with balance concerns should be cautious.
There was only one set of keys, which was a bit inconvenient for our group, and the extra linens were locked up, so we had to manage with what was available.
Overall, this property has a lot to offer for the price, and the host’s responsiveness made us feel well taken care of.
Light and bright and spacious, this was a lovely home base for our first visit to Glasgow. Easy walking distance to Kelvingrove Museum, shops and restaurants. Close to one of the "hop on hop off" stops, which was a fun way to see much of the city. Great communication and helpful host.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely Finnieston flat in a super convenient location to Kelvingrove Art Museum and other sites. There are many nearby restaurants of all ethnicities and several friendly pubs in a three or four block radius. Although the flat does not provide parking we had great luck with the coin operated metered system on the adjacent street (free from 6pm-8am). The flat was nicely designed and very comfortable for our group which included seniors and a 6-year-old. Cable TV would be a plus although the smart TV and access to premium channels proved workable. Our host, Suzy, was very responsive.
