Love the location. Nice apartment. The only downside was the staircase to go up and down inside the apartment, and only one bathroom for 4 people. I would still stay here again. Worth every penny paid.
Excellent stay in a gorgeous little village and close walk to Sorrento town. Ettore was very helpful even checking with us half way through our stay to make sure we were happy
We enjoyed our stay and especially loved all the restaurants right outside our door and the taxi and bus stop so close as well. Pretty view from the room and nice to just walk around the area. Easy to get transportation and I liked the little store by us as well.
Everything about this house far exceeded our expectations. The beach, the neighbors, the restaurants and I believe the largest bathroom in Sorento. So many windows for fresh breeze but also the air conditioning was great to have for those extra hot afternoons. Can’t wait to come back.
Apartment has a beachy feel, little gritty, but location was just steps from many excellent restaurants, boat/kayak/scuba rentals, small market. Views were awesome. About 10 minute walk to Sorrento shopping. There was an electrical issue in the kitchen, but it didn’t interfere with our stay and can likely be fixed easily. A great place to stay for a few days and use as a base for tours, then come back at the end of the day to have dinner, relax and watch the sunset.
The location and house was absolutely fantastic. Gianluigi and Marco met us at the house and took the time to personally review everything in the house. Gianluigi left his phone number. I texted him a few times and he immediately returned my text and was very helpful. He offered so many helpful suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying at the house.
This condo was a great location in Sorrento, very walkable to the center of town and sits within steps of the beach and restaurants. The layout of the place is a bit odd, the bathroom and kitchen is on the first floor and the two bedrooms are upstairs. There is no living room for the family to gather in. The place suited our needs and location. It was fabulous to see the water and beach every morning from the windows. Antonio the manager was a great communicator and helped us with booking private cars for our day trips and provided great recommendations on things to do in the area and restaurants to eat at. I would stay here again.
We stayed a few nights to visit Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. You could walk right out to the beach which was key for us. The property was a two bedroom one bathroom. Both bedrooms were upstairs and the bath and kitchen were on the bottom floor. Please note….if you have young children or elderly people with you….there is a spiral metal staircase to go downstairs. (This is the only reason we gave 4 stars on the listing because I did not believe the set up was clear in the listing.) The management was very easy to work with and responsive.
My family and I loved our stay in the blue grotto apartment. It was a perfect location to explore the town of Sorrento and there was great dining all around us. The city is super vibrant with restaurants and shops open until 11 o’clock or later. You can’t get any closer to the water with this apartment. My boys (13, 16) loved having easy access to the water where they could play independently. We could watch them from the balcony The layout of the apartment is a little weird - there is no living room - bathroom downstairs - but it had everything we needed and we loved having a separate space for our children to sleep. We even use the washing machine and hung our clothes to dry on the balcony racks, just like the Italian neighbors. The apartment was clean and the communication with the host was good. They offered to help with whatever we needed.
My family and I were disappointed with our stay. It was not worth 500+Euros per night. The property owner hung-up on my when I was trying to reach him a second time to check-in and was annoyed when I told him I was using a different phone number from my initial contact number. The set the tone for our stay. The place was filthy, with permanent stains on the floors and walls and paint chipping from the walls. The bathroom sink didn't drain. We weren't given any body soap. The coffee maker was old and dirty. The dehumidifier tank was full with dirty water. The apartment was very dark. It needs a lot of maintenance and is not worth the money at all! I don't recommend staying here. My family and I travel a lot and are accustomed to the value we should have received for our hard earned money!

Dear Peter, thank you for this review, our customers' feedback is always very important to us. However, we are sorry to have received such a low score for this property. First of all, the number you entered in the reservation was wrong and for this reason we had problems contacting you. Our check in assistant is always punctual and very attentive to customers. As for the sink, we promptly informed our plumber and when he showed up at the house you never opened the door for him. In general, your behavior as guests was incorrect and rude towards us. We understand that there may be some inconveniences but our goal is always to cooperate with our customers and satisfy them as much as possible.
