Villa la Catena is located on a branch of the ancient Via Francigena in the quiet village of Ulignano, a hamlet of San Gimignano, which is 6 km away.
The property underwent a long and meticulous renovation completed in December 2021 and is laid out as follows: a spacious living room with a kitchenette, two bedrooms—each with a double bed and a single bed—a bathroom with a double sink and shower, and an utility room with a washing machine and sink. The rooms are 330 cm high and are furnished with traditional local furniture and high-quality handcrafted pieces. Two high chairs and a cot are available upon request.
All rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with air conditioning and window screens. Free 100 Mb Wi-Fi. Satellite TV.
The accommodation is located on the ground floor and features a large private outdoor area with a relaxation and dining area.
The garden is still under construction; work will be completed in February 2022.
One car can be parked inside the fenced-in property, which is monitored by video surveillance. There are ample free public parking spaces adjacent to the villa.
In the basement, there is an additional unit of approximately 36 square metres with a separate entrance, converted from the old cellars. It features a double bed and a two-seater sofa bed, as well as a small dining table and a bathroom with a shower.
All essential services are within 100 metres: a pharmacy, post office, ATM, café, supermarket, and historic bakery...
