A stay in a Sea Loft is a one of a kind experience...... you will enjoy the peace and quiet of a nature preserve with gorgeous marsh views.
Our two bedroom, two bath villa is a nautical inspired, unique octagon shaped treehouse with floor to ceiling windows in every room. The brand new downstairs addition is the perfect spot for watching the game, curling up with a good book or rolling out a yoga mat! The patio deck is perfect for meals, cocktails or birdwatching while overlooking Calibogue Sound marsh. Keep your eyes open and you will likely see the island deer wondering by each day.

Deer Island is just a few minutes walk to Harbour Town, Sea Pines Racquet Club and Harbour Town Golf Links. Each morning you can play your favorite sport, drop by the Harbour Town Bakery (newly renovated!) or stroll the Yacht basin. During the day Harbour Town is the center for all your family water activities from parasailing to paddle boarding or heading out on the sound to dolphin watch. In the evenings, you can visit one of the many restaurants and shops or climb 114 steps of the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse before the evening entertainment begins under the Liberty Oak tree.
Our Treehouse is a 15 minute bike ride to the Sea Pines Beach Club area or the South Beach marina where you can access the beautiful beaches thru dozens of walking paths throughout the entire resort area. The Sea Pines Trolley also provides a wonderful way of accessing the Beach Club and the rest of the resort. The Sea Pines Beach Club is also a 5 minute drive.
Sea Pines will become your favorite vacation destination and we know you will love your time on Hilton Head as much as we do! Security cameras - This home is equipped with an exterior camera for your protection and the security of our guests and property.

Great Weekend!

We had a great weekend! The tree houses on Deer Island are one of our favorite places to stay. This was one of the cleaniest and niciest ones we have stayed in. Loved all of the amenties-especially having bicycles included!

Secluded oasis on HHI

Wonderful property with close proximity to Harbor Town and all of Sea Pines. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet the area is given the proximity to Harbor Town. We definitely enjoyed the daily visitors (deer) as the island is named for.

2nd Honeymoon

We returned to the Sea Pines Resort for the first time since our honeymoon 44 years ago. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The location and setting were ideal, everything was just as described in the listing and the entire process from reservation to modification of that reservation to check-in and check-out were flawless.

Perfect home in Harbour Town!

We had an amazing week in this cozy little home within walking distance to everything we needed. This was the absolute perfect spot for what we were looking for. Our family of 3 appreciated the cleanliness and coziness of this home. It was in the ideal location minutes from Harbour Town dining and shops. Highly recommend. Thank you Heather and Jim.

Updated Sea Loft is Great Place to Anchor near Harbor Town

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Sea Pines. We went there on out honeymoon and 10th anniversary. We always stay on Deer Island. This property was just perfect for us.

Winter stay

My parents had a wonderful extended stay at this Sea Loft. They have stayed in several properties on Deer Island and this was their favorite by far. Newly renovated and in great condition.

Peaceful Retreat

The Sealoft had a cute nautical theme. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted/needed, including beach chairs and a boogie board. It was an easy walk to Harbourtown but was pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle.

Quiet Little Getaway

My husband and two teenage children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. The easy access to Harbour Town was convenient and safe for the kids to ride bikes back and forth. We enjoyed the beautiful view on the deck and the deer that came up to visit each night. One of our favorite stays so far in Hilton Head.

Loved our stay this week. Beautiful escape to the marshlands of Deer Island where we felt far removed from the hustle and bustle of Habour Town despite being a short walk from the pier. Family Favorite

Anchors Away has been a family favorite for years! We absolutely LOVE the location, cleanliness, wildlife, views, and especially the provided bikes. Every inch of the house is well-designed to accommodate all of our needs. The deck is one of our favorite places to sit and enjoy the views of the marsh. We are so thankful for this little slice of paradise.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed here for a little over a week in mid-March and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The tree house was a wonderful and unique experience. The location was great. Just a short walk through tropical foliage to Harbour Town. The weather was less than ideal, but the Tree house made up for it. We would definitely return. A super experience!

The location is perfect. You get your own private, stand alone place over-looking the marsh. It is within walking distance of Harbor Town (which is full of restaurants, shops, and the main pick up location for the Sea Pines Trolley). Place was clean. No issues at all.

A unique family experience

We had a wonderful time in this treehouse as a family of four. The area is beautiful and accommodations are unique compared to anywhere else we've stayed. My husband said it felt like living in a sunroom because of all the windows to look out on the beautiful island. We used the bikes to ride all over the island and saw deer almost every day. If you're considering this property, definitely book it!

Amazing Getaway!

This sealoft was the perfect setting for our 15th anniversary. We felt like we were on a secluded island yet we were so close to so many Sea Pines traditions. We rode bikes everywhere. The ride to the beach was breathtaking. The view from the deck was amazing. The deer would come so close to it! The sealoft was well-stocked and accommodating. One of our fav spots to eat breakfast was Lowcountry Produce (Shops at Sea Pines). Already planning to return next summer!

You'll Dread Leaving

I was in town for the annual RBC Heritage PGA Golf Tournament as a score keeper. This was my 26th year at the tournament, and my 3rd stay on Deer Island, my first at Anchors Away. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, location, views and how well the property description matched reality! This is a fun home that provides a very peaceful and quiet retreat. My highlight was a cold beverage on the deck after a day in the sun serving the PGA Tour, with a beautiful star lit sky. Looking forward to returning! Thanks for the hospitality!

Sea Pines Treehouse

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house has been newly renovated and shows beautifully. It’s comfortable and clean and truly maximizes all the space. We loved the living space in the lower level accessible by the spiral staircase. It’s small, but a very cute and cozy living space. There is also a desk which my husband used for a bit of work each day. The house is sunny and bright and is well equipped for cooking. We used the bikes everyday. The house looks to be very well equipped with beach supplies, although we didn’t get a chance to use since it was cooler our week. It’s very quiet and peaceful here with an easy and pretty walk to Harbortown. We loved this house and would love to stay again!

Hilton Head's Best Kept Secret!

This was our third stay at the Sealoft. It just gets better and better! We were blown away by the upgrades. The downstairs room was absolutely perfect for our teenage son! Our boys look forward to this vacation tradition all year long and it never disappoints. The Sealoft's location allows for bike rides to the Beach Club, walks to Harbour Town, evenings on the deck watching the deer in the marsh...I could go on and on! We have been vacationing in Sea Pines for over twenty years and have loved it! One day on a bike ride we just happened upon Deer Island and couldn't believe these unique Sea Lofts were tucked away like a secret. Every time we visited Sea Pines we made sure to make a stop on Deer Island and dream about the day when one could be ours. We fell in love with how secluded and private Deer Island is, yet, five minutes away is the fun atmosphere of Harbour Town with all of the family activities it has to offer.
This is really a dream come true and we are excited to share it with others!
