Arranged over 3 floors, the accommodation is elegantly appointed throughout. The open plan living space is furnished with comfortable sofas, 50” TV (Freeview, Netflix and DVD available) and woodburner. In the well equipped kitchen/diner, there is a 6 seater island, range cooker, gas hob, electric oven, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, double butler sink and Nespresso machine. In the dining room, wall to wall picture windows bring the glorious Devon countryside to you while you eat. This space also provides an additional lounge area with 30” TV and DVD player.

A downstairs utility room houses washing machine, tumble dryer, shower room, WC and basin. family bathroom over-bath shower On the 1st floor, bedroom 1 has a double bed, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom (double shower, and double ended bath), French doors leading out onto a stunning terraced balcony. Bedroom 2 has a King (2 singles on request); and bedroom 3 has a double. On the 2nd floor, bedroom 4 has 3 singles and a pull out bed (ideal for kids).

Outside, a paved patio with seating for 8, brick built BBQ, outdoor toys, lawned garden backing onto woodland provide an outdoor space to enjoy. A single garage offers storage space for surfboards and bikes. Dogs are welcome on request only and charges apply.

We stayed in hazelmere for my husbands 40th birthday, lovely setting home from home, lots of space even though there were 10 of us we had more than enough space set over 3 floors and 3 double bedrooms it was perfect. Very clean We usually parked in woolacombe for the day to access the beach Amazing views to wake up to This really is a great find You can also use all the facilities at woolacombe caravan park next door if you wish great for the children Thank you hazelmere

Hazelmere House

Great private location with ample space. The only downside was the plumbing which was incredibly noisy and woke up the entire houshold every time someone used a tap.

Everything we needed and more

We were looking for a house for our mums 60th, something big enough for 9 of us to stay and something a little special. The views from the main bedroom and balcony were spectacular, especially when the sun came out. The kitchen and lounge space was perfect for our dinner party and the rooms were ideal with a bathroom close. The grounds were great for the kids with the climbing frame and Wendy House. Sadly 2 of the double beds were quite uncomfortable, like 2 mattresses put together but at different heights. The check in is quite late and check out is rather early, but other than that we couldn't fault it. It was ideal for what we needed and I would recommend.

Lovely stay

Over all we had a lovely stay its a really beautiful house! The key safe was really tricky to get into! Took 4 of us trying for about 25 mins its very stiff. The house could have been better stocked , although the prosecco was a lovely surprise. Und3r sofas could have a hoover, our dog was constantly trying to get under b3cause of peevious tenants food. But over all we had a really great time and the house was great. The ensuite bath was greatly appreciated after some of the group had a dip in the sea.

Beautiful setting. No check in details given. Couldn't reach host. Vrbo couldn't reach host. So stressful with 3 under fours in car. Vrbo offered refund if we could rebook similar. Please... Devon in August? Try Expedia they suggested. Two other parties were on their way to the property, not knowing the outcome. Thanks to police & locksmith we were in.Plumbing sounds like a fog horn (literally) waking people up.TJS Properties need to get maintenance & repair & refurb.

Ilfracombe’s pretty harbour offers fishing charters and pleasure cruises around the coast or to Lundy Island in the season; voted No.6 in Europe and No. 20 in the world by travellers in 2020, Woolacombe Beach, one of the best in the UK and renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities, is only a 5 minute drive. Take the popular Tarka Trail for cyclists and walkers, visit Exmoor National Park, Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and other beaches such as Saunton Sands, Croyde and Westward Ho! It also boasts free unlimited access to nearby Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park (Easter hols to end of October half term). This includes full use of indoor and outdoor pools, shop, clubhouse, restaurant and bar (please contact us on arrival to gain access). As well as ample parking for more than four cars on site, it offers private parking for one more off-site (ten minute walk downhill to the village).
