Beautiful old cottage, amazing location with walks on the doorstep and within a short drive. Plenty of firewood and cookies and Prosecco on arrival. Low ceilings though, beware if you’re tall.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings
We had a fabulous holiday as a family for my son’s 30th birthday. The cottage was so cosy had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Beautiful walks right on our door step and my granddaughter loved seeing the sheep and cows on the farm.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted you had such a special family getaway and enjoyed the cottage, walks, and farm animals. We’d love to welcome you all back again soon!
Thank you for a very lovely stay at Bellflower Cottage. The location is perfect for amazing walks and cottage very comfortable. A few pointers that can be improved but does not ruin the experience: The washing machine does not finish cycle so needs sorting, the bathroom fans do not work in two of the three bathrooms, the hob doesn't get hot on two rings. Otherwise it is a perfect place- you wont be disappointed.

We loved our time at the Bellflower Cottage. It is a working farm and our son loved visiting with the animals. The owners are onsite and lovely people. We hope to come back.
Absolutely beautiful cottage and surrounding countryside. My husband, son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters (18 mo & 3 yrs were very comfortable. The amenities were excellent and Laura was very sweet…loved the goodies left for us! We took lots of amazing walks…favorite was the “Winnie-the-Pooh” walk in Ashdown forest nearby. Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing stay close to Haywards Heath village.
My family had a lovely stay at Bellflower Cottage on the working, peaceful Twyford Farm. Hosts were kind and we appreciated the welcome goodies and mince pies. Although the weather was cold, we were comfortably warm and appreciated the kindling and wood. Check in and out were a breeze.

Perfect for us
We had searched for a nice place for us, our visiting Kids and especially our dog. Also it had to be in the proximity of our daughters new school. So this location and house was a perfect match for us !!! Also very cosy.

Thank you for your lovely review of your stay at Bellflower Cottage! Thank you for being such respectful and we look forward to hopefully welcoming you back in the future.
Not the easiest cottage to find since it took 2 attempts! However, once located we were thrilled to find picture postcard perfect home away from home. Clean, comfortable, and well appointed with nice outdoor space. Very easy access to local countryside.
We traveled around Europe for three weeks ans this was mine, my husbands and my three kids favorite place we stayed. It was like living in a magical fairytale and waking up every day in the most beautiful place. My kids loved walking around the lake om the property and spending time with the cows and sheep. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and the large dining area was perfect for us. It was a great location to see castles, explore beaches and so much more. We will definitely stay again.

Cottage in the countryside
Lovely cottage on the edge of Ashdown Forest, with lots of walks nearby. Comfortable accommodation, although upstairs requires ducking under beams. The weather was beautiful for our stay and we were able to eat outside a lot and it was lovely to do so. Cottage could do with a little TLC, which would make a big difference

Thank you for taking your time to leave your review . We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately there's not much we can do about the beams but it would be good to get more feedback from you re your final comments. The owners are very conscientious and would be keen for further feedback. We will send you a direct message. Thank you again.

A cosy retreat
Bellflower Cottage was perfect for a NYE weekend getaway - very warm (we had to turn the heating down!), clean, well equipped (although we had to ask for loo roll and dishwasher tabs), beautifully decorated and so peaceful. The quintessential English country cottage! Gorgeous walks from the door and lovely outside space (which only the dog took advantage of as the weather was so wet!)
We did struggle with the beams with 3 out of 6 of us banging our heads, but we knew from the description that they were there before we booked. So our bad!
A lovely, lovely stay. Thank you!

Thank you for your wonderful review of your NYE getaway at our property, Bellflower Cottage. We're delighted to hear that you had a warm, clean, and well-equipped stay. The cottage's beautiful decor and peaceful surroundings truly create the quintessential English country cottage experience. We apologize for the low beams that caused some discomfort, but we appreciate you understanding that they are part of the cottage's charm. We're glad you enjoyed the gorgeous walks and outside space, even if the weather didn't cooperate. Thank you for choosing Bellflower Cottage and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
Peaceful and picturesque escape to the English countryside.
The cottage itself is cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and stylish bathroom, everything was thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The cottage also has a lovely private garden, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine in the fresh air.
But what really sets Bellflower Cottage apart is its location. The cottage is situated on Twyford Farm, surrounded by rolling hills, lush green fields, and picturesque countryside. It's a peaceful and tranquil spot, ideal for a relaxing getaway. And yet, despite its rural setting, the cottage is conveniently located just a short drive from the charming village of Horsted Keynes, with its historic church, traditional pub, and friendly locals.
During my stay, I enjoyed exploring the local area, taking long walks in the countryside.Overall, I would highly recommend Bellflower Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque escape to the English countryside. The cottage itself is a true gem, and the surrounding area is simply stunning. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Autumn stay in Sussex with family
The cottage was a lovely place to stay in with family. Great location for local walks. Kitchen was ample for us to cook as a group of six. Nice wood burner and comfy sitting space. Underfloor heating was lovely. Quiet except for owls!
A very enjoyable stay. A minor couple of points: it would be helpful to have a book/folder including all the house information in addition to TV stuff. Also the initial description should include the fact that upstairs there are 2 cross beams in the corridor which are only about 5' high - meaning you have to bend every time you go through. So beware.
