Thank you for your great review. You were lovely guests at The Stables and we would happily welcome you again in the future!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Stables is a lovely barn conversion and was much bigger than we were expecting with plenty of room for a family to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and a few kitchen essentials like salt and pepper and oil. I was very grateful for the paprika too!
The location was gorgeous, a quiet rural location, but was also quick and easy to get to larger places like Bridlington and Scarborough, and York was only an hour's drive.
Lucy was always accessible and quick to respond to queries too.
Thank you for making our first visit to Yorkshire so special.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, so glad you enjoyed your stay at The Stables, you were awesome guests! Thanks for leaving the place clean. All the best :)
Stayed at the stables, based on the edge of the village of Kilham. the Stables was Much bigger than we expected. There is a Local pub 800 metres away selling good food. ( The Old Star).
the Stables has a small shared garden that both the Barn and The Stables look on to from the living room/bedroom windows.
In the Stables it has a large mezzanine area (not used) with velux windows that look out on to open fields and good views (Shame that this is not fully uterlised /accessible as the views are lovely).
Enjoyed our break from 26/12-31/12/2022 and got out to Whitby, Scarborough, bempton cliffs and Flamborough despite the rain/windy weather. Left a day early to go to York on our way home - but torrential rain stopped our visit to York.
Really quiet place despite being on a small housing estate on the edge of the village.
We enjoyed our stay as the Barn was not occupied and we had full /sole use of the small garden and put out a few bird feeders to attract the birds.
Large open fireplace that kept the living room warm. The fire place in the dining room does not currently work and was a little cold even though we had an electric heater available.
Would recommend
