Detached Bungalow central Beverley great location with parking
Unlike other properties, our bungalow "Minster Chimes" is genuinely located close to the centre of the historic market town of Beverley. It is only 5 minutes’ walk to numerous shops, restaurants and public houses. There are good rail and bus links to Hull (City of Culture 2017), York and the Yorkshire coast. No car required!
Sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms with plenty of storage space. The sunny and spacious kitchen diner faces south with an enclosed pleasant garden area and patio with garden furniture. There is a cosy lounge with a gas fire and a spacious bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Facilities include flat screen TV and DVD, free WiFi, microwave oven, washing machine. A sofa bed in the dining area allows more flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Free off road parking is available at the front of the property. Recently Minster Chimes was the temporary home to visitors working on the new Flemingate shopping centre and we received this feedback: "Hi Julia, If I could say that Morton Lane accommodation in Beverley was really comfortable and it was a pleasure after a long days work knowing that I was going back to something that was home from home and could unwind very easy. The facilities within the home was second to none and all I had to supply was the food. Everything from clean linen, books to read and TV to watch were all at hand. Lastly the location of the bungalow was very handy as we didn't have our own transport so it was 15minutes walking to and from our workplace, 10minutes walking to the train station and a large Tesco was right across the street. Beverley town centre was also only approximately about minutes away. I would like to thank Graham and yourself for the comfort of your own home, best of wishes and would look forward to returning one day if we ever get another project in the lovely town of Beverley. Adrian"

A beautiful and well kitted out property. We will definitely be booking this property again and have recommended it to family who are now also looking at dates. The flowers and biscuits were also very lovely.
We enjoyed our stay with no issues at all. Location was great for the town centre and parking on site was a bonus. Supermarket across the road was very handy. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen too.
Julia, was very accomodating and welcoming. A perfect location so close to town and all the ameneties. Peaceful and comfortable with everything you need.
Perfect spot. Clean, well appointed. Has everything we needed and then some! Nice and quiet, beautiful yard and fantastic location. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful time. So central to shops, pubs, walks and bus/train stations. Plenty to do. Added bonus of parking too. Very comfy and spacious. All you could possibly need and very good communication.
Julia's welcoming bungalow is comfortable and well equipped. Flowers on the table were a lovely touch. The location suited us well and we enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden.
Visiting to see relatives in area- perfect location for driving out to Bempton, Hessle Cottingham etc. useful Tesco opposite and fish and chips up the road. Spacious, warm and clean everything we needed!
We've stayed a number of times now as the bungalow is comfortable and so well located. We arrived to find the boiler not working but Julia was very helpful by phone and talked us through problem solving. All fine and cosy after that!
Spotless. Plenty of towels and pillows. Parking was great. Never have I visited a better equipped holiday rental. A real home from home. Plenty of books and games, we meant to play Scrabble but never got round to it. Tesco very near and M&S food walkable. Position was central so very convenient. Lovely suntrap garden to sit out. Little extras like the vase of flowers were appreciated. Communication excellent. The only downside was the bed in the side bedroom was very uncomfortable and my friend could feel the springs in the mattress. Front bedroom bed which I used was fine though. It would be an "excellent" if that was addressed. So if driving, and you have space, maybe bring a mattress topper for the bed in side bedroom, until host replaces mattress. Or try the sofabed in dining room (did not try that). Overall a wonderful stay and I would book again. Thank you.

My husband and I have lived in historic Beverley for over 20 years and we have loved every moment of it. From the rear of the bungalow you will be able to spot the roof of Beverley Minster and it is possible to enjoy the unusual melodic chimes every 15 minutes. I really enjoy wandering around the markets and popping into the small specialist shops. There are numerous superb eating and drinking venues within easy walking distance of Minster Chimes and it is an excellent base to visit the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. We hope you will come and visit and discover Beverley’s hidden gems and share our enjoyment.
