About this property

Delightful Disney Villa Lazy River and Jurassic, Ratatouille, Lion King Rooms!

Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhome (one bathroom is downstairs) is located in Regal Palms Resort which offers you a vacation close to Disney World, Sea World and many other theme parks, golf courses, restaurants and shopping.

All bedrooms have beautiful "artist-painted" walls with Jurassic Park, Lion King and Ratatouille themes. Our fully equipped house provides you with all the essentials for a comfortable stay and a home away from home, while enjoying the wonderful amenities of a luxurious resort.

Our villa is located a relaxed 5-minute walk to both the swimming pool and lazy river. It is away from the main road, ensuring a quiet environment. (Close to the swimming pool area has increase noise and foot traffic as well as being the main entrance for traffic entering and leaving the resort.)

***Please Note: Regal Palms charges $20 plus tax per house per day (not per person) that is paid locally at Regal Palms front desk check-in and not included in your reservation total. This will give you complete use of the resort amenities, including:

24-Hour front desk
A good sized beach style swimming pool (zero-entry pool for the little ones in the family)
A lazy river and a slide
Hot tub
Sauna
Barbecue areas
Children playground area by the pool
Sand volleyball area
Ticket/tour assistance
Business and computer center

Within walking distance is an excellent Publix supermarket as well as a variety of restaurants – a Chinese takeaway, a Japanese restaurant and a Thai restaurant. There is also a South American restaurant, and I-hop and an Applebees. Also, a very popular British fish and chip restaurant with outside tables and music.

CVS Pharmacy, Bank, Liquor store, and Walk-In Medical Clinic are also within a very easy walk.
Walmart and Target are close by.

Many people say that there is no need to leave the resort at all.

The resort itself is the perfect location for a golfer's get away. It is located next to the scenic and highly rated Highlands Reserve Golf Club, Celebration Golf Club, Southern Dunes, Diamondback and many more.

Other major attractions in the vicinity are as followed:
Disney World/ Sea World/ Legoland/ Shopping Outlet/ Gatorland/ Universal Studios/ Orlando Airport etc

***Each unit is authorised, by Regal Palms Resort, to have a maximum of Three Vehicles. These three cars must be fully in your driveway; we ask for two cars to be vertical and one horizontal on the back. All cars must be registered with the clubhouse. No overnight street or Clubhouse parking. Cars violating parking rules will be towed at guest’s expense with no notice given.

Pros - The hosts are nice and communication was easy, they were very gracious allowed us to check in 3 hours earlier since our last minute trip had an early flight. We sincerely appreciated the gesture. Check in process was very easy. Lazy river is small but decent, steam bath and sauna access were nice bonus and we enjoyed that. Pool towels are handy option and were easy to swap.Cons - We were very surprised by the 20 fees plus tax that we had to pay for every day we were staying, when we booked it wasn’t listed on the booking details. I reached out to the owner after checking the property details again and in the morning it was mentioned in the listing. Anyhow it is what it is, it’s fair to let people know in advance. The house is dated, beds were squeaky, dishes also did not feel clean, we cleaned everything before using them. The master has one blind missing so the morning sun comes right on your face and there is no way to stop it. When we checked in the master toilet wasn’t flushing. Called the maintenance folks and they addressed it fast but the guy admitted that he knew about the valve issue but forgot or to fix it, again wasn’t the best start. Location wise, it’s not as close to universal, with traffic it can take you anywhere between 45mins to an hour to get there. But that’s on us, we should have researched better.Overall I won’t rate this 10/10 property by any means.. may be 6/10 from our experience.

This place was more than perfect for our recent stay. My son and I were amazed by the onsite pool/ lazy river. The Staff were very helpful and our Hosts Geoff and Sylvie were accommodating in every way. Check In and Check Out were a breeze. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

Best holiday ever

My family and I arrived in Orlando to find that our ‘other property’ had overbooked and we had nowhere to go. We were given Sylvie’s contact details and she sorted everything out for us! We were visiting Disney for my nine-year-old’s birthday. The following morning, my three-year-old was feeling very tired so my husband went to Disney (only 20 minutes away) while I stayed at Regal Palms. The villa was wonderful and both kids loved the ‘Disney’ paintings. Villa had everything we needed and the pool area was PERFECT! Super safe. While my husband was away, Sylvie even got me a VERY late checkout. Couldn’t speak more highly of her. While I was at the pool, I met a few other people and invited them to see her villa because I was so impressed. Everybody agreed with me and thought that the special touches were quite exceptional. Thank you so much.

Why they chose this property

Whether you choose to visit the abandons of theme parks near by, just rest at Regal Palms Resort all day, or wish to go slightly further the field to NASA on the east coast or Tampa (Bush Garden), our villas is ideally situated for everything.
Personally, as a family, we prefer visiting the wide range of natural parks so that we can see alligators, bird life or swim with manatees. Even the Everglades are within reach in a one-day trip.
We think we are perfectly located in all Florida has to offer.

What makes this property unique

We are within a comfortable 5-min walk to the club house and the swimming pool - close enough for easy access and just far way enough for peace and quiet.

Sylvie is a professional artist and has done numerous painting throughout the villa; these include Olaf, the Lion King, Ratatouille, Jurassic Park. Each time we visit, Sylvie adds more art work to the house. Our last visit, she added a beautiful Sea World / Discovery Cove inspired painting in the living room to add more sea-site vide to the house.
