This home is located near mile marker 8, across the main channel from The Shady Gator. On a cove off the main channel. Covered private boat dock with a boat lift(To be use at your risk) Private deck on top of the boat house, with a firepit.
3 nice size bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. Large eat in kitchen, with table setting 9 - 10 people and room for 4 at the kitchen bar. All the comforts of home, step out the kitchen door and find a large grill and a small table for 4 on deck. This home has 2 gas fireplaces, and amazing sunroom with a nice table to eat at, or play some cards while enjoying the views of the lake.

Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure all the remotes are put back where they belong. And the trash key/ back gate lock are put back where they belong. Safe travels home
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quite time from 10 PM until 7 AM. No parties allowed. Please respectful to the neighbors No wake boats in the cove as there are NO wake bouys in place
All trash must be in bags and placed inside the outside trash containers. And they must be latched shut to keep the raccoons out! IINSIDE AND OUTSIDE!
At this time due to personal allergies we will not allow pets. Also NO smoking in our home. There is a 500.00 for bringing a pet. Thank you.

Another Great Trip to the Ozarks

Another great family Ozark trip to this outstanding property! Added some additional days to the original reservation which was a breeze! Additional boat slip was great for keeping the kids fishing when the rain came through. Looking forward to doing it again!

Awesome stay on the lake

Our whole family really enjoyed their home on the lake. We were very comfortable and loved that there were spaces for everyone to spread out. The outdoor spaces were awesome. The kids had so much fun swimming out off the dock. The boat dock was great for our boat. No complaints, would love to visit again!

Fantastic getaway

We had a great stay. The place was as advertised and even better than expected. The hosts supplies for guests was overly generous down to Q-tips, spices, kitchen necessities and beach towels. I also own a short term rental and I could take a few lessons from the owners. Had a fantastic time at the lake.

Birthday Celebration

Lovely property and so well stocked. They must have taken hints from "Vacation House Rules". Worked beautifully for our family gathering with three families. Girls loved the dock, water, and playing games in the game room. It is definitely a "do again". Thank you Dorothy and Savannah for your assistance.

Great for a Girls Weekend

This property is spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was room for all six of us to spread out and have our own bed. The kitchen is well-appointed, with everything you need to cook family meals. The boathouse deck was delightful, and the dock was perfect to for sunning and swimming. Thank you for a great place for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect lake house

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at the property. Luckily we had great weather but there are so many hang out spots in the house that rain would not have ruined anything. Great areas where people can spread out and/or get away from everyone. We loved this home and really had no complaints

Fantastic Rental Property

My wife and my three boys have rented many houses on the lake. This home is a perfect rental and we will for sure rent again. Hopefully the home continues to be available to rent. There are to many extras to list that make the time there fantastic!

A very special home

This was our third stay and every year gets better. Our hosts provide a lovely welcoming home with cozy soft linens and lots of cozy spaces to gather. This year they expanded the deck with lots of seating. It was a new favorite place to hang out for morning coffee and after dinner drinks. We will be back!

Our favorite place to stay!

We have stayed here twice now. Both times the house has been clean and very well stocked. Beautiful inside with lots of space. The dock is so close and there are no stairs to get to it from the lower level of the house! Our favorite spot is sitting in the chairs looking out the windows toward the water. Lots of chipmunks and squirrels and birds to watch! We will be booking again soon!

Amazing week at the Lake!

We rent properties at lake of the Ozarks all the time but this was our first trip to this home. Absolutely amazing. House is spectacular, huge, roomy, clean, nice, the sunroom is spectacular. Outside living areas and equally awesome and the dock was the main attraction. Everyone loved it. We will be back!!! Highly recommend.

Fabulous as always!

We are repeat renters and have booked for next year as well. Everything you need is fully provided . What is a important to us is that there aren’t a lot of stairs to the water and there are none here! The sun deck faces west for great sunsets. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and have always been pleasant to deal with. This one is a keeper!

Dorothy's home was one of the cleanest and well stocked home that I have rented. Beautifully maintained.Plenty of room for 2 families-9 people total. The dock and water were perfect for floating around all day. So many fireworks during the 4th we couldnt have asked for a better seat!! We went to the Bridal cave one day and the cost was a bit steep but the guide was very knowledgable. Ended up enjoying the tour more than I expected! We would definitly return to this home.Thanks for a great vacation!!

Top Notch Vacation Home

We have rented this home many times and every visit something is new and improved. Dorothy and Kenny are committed to providing a wonderful experience for their guests. You are treated like family. Everything is of the highest quality from dishes to linens to towels and toiletries. It is well stocked with paper goods and spices and basic pantry items which is so helpful. ( I've rented where you get 1 roll of toilet paper per bath and 1 roll of paper towels). There is plenty of space to spread out and many gathering places, the huge kitchen, deck, living room, enclosed porch, the pier and the area above the boat house with a fire pit. Dorothy and Kenny respond quickly to your questions or requests -even from their Alaskan vacation. We have already booked for next year.

Wonderful stay!

First off we were blown away by the size of this property! The inside was way larger than we expected and the home was stocked with everything and more! Dorothy goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need for a lake vacation. The cove was a little rougher than we expected on the weekend so it made it a little harder to tie up our boat, but during the week it was a lot calmer. We couldn’t have asked for a better rental! Also, the welcome basket was very kind and appreciated! Thanks! Heather

Wow! Treated like family!

We have rented several homes through VRBO and each had its own charm but Hideaway Bay was the best by far. We felt like long awaited family rather than rental guests. it was like someone had given us their special home that was nicely decorated, comfy beds, soft thick towels, stocked with staples, spices, and paper goods. Dorothy and Kenny provided a thought filled attention to detail and anticipation of needs. It was so nice to have a place with sharp knives, nice dishes ( not Corel) and filtered water at the sink and fridge. We also felt very special with the lovely Welcome Basket of goodies and warm note from Dorothy and Kenny. We didn't want to leave. Oh, the sunsets from the dock are pretty spectacular too! We Love coming to the lake. We have been bringing our family over the years and realized what a wonderful place to make more family memories. So we wanted to share our home with others in hopes of your family making wonderful memories also. We live in Colorado, Kenny grew up in a small town in Missouri and has fond memories of going to the Lake of the Ozarks.

Why they chose this property

We hope you love spending time at our home, as much as we do. It's easy to walk to the water on the gentle slope. Lots of fishing from the dock with the crappie beds below. The home is large and very peaceful, we truly have a special area.

What makes this property unique

It's close to small restaurants, on the quite side. It's only 30 minutes to get to the strip. We have an amazing view of the lake for the glassed in Sunroom. You can sit back and relax, or just watch, play a game or play cards.
