10 minutes north on Boulter Rd. is Foster Lake Beach where you can spend the day at the secluded public beach swimming and having a bbq. Has playground/ change rooms and washrooms.
5 minutes away there is a boat launch into Fraser Lake where there is also great fishing/swimming.
