Family friendly house - only two houses from the beach!

Located in Lavallette this 8 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home comfortable sleeps 17! The listing price is for 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. Great space for large family get togethers!! There are two living areas (one with an ocean view), a fully stocked kitchen including a large kitchen table that seats 14! The deck off the kitchen has a large table and BBQ covered by a brand new sunscape. The front porch has a ceiling fan and comfortable seating. The backyard has a large seating area with umbrellas for shade around a firepit. A clotheslined is provided. The outdoor shower completes all of the shore house necessities. The backyard is completely fenced in. There is a separate outside attached cottage that has a 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The use of the cottage is an extra fee.

Huge plus! Onsite parking for up to four cars!!

Utility room has a brand new Samsung washer and dryer and an extra fridge!

Beach Getaway

My extended family of ten had a lovely stay in this very desirable location in Lavallette. You can walk to everything...especially shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Susan was so reliable with communication throughout the week. We had such a fun and relaxing stay!!!

Perfect for a Family Getaway!!

Located just steps from a fabulous beach this house is a gem! It’s spacious and has a wonderful kitchen, living area, and yard! It’s in walking distance to town, restaurants, ice cream, and more. Susan is great- she is extremely hospitable, responsive, and provides great notes on the property and makes it a seamless experience for you. Would highly recommend this location for a fantastic beach vacation!

Vedder Vacay was perfect.

House and owner amazing! Perfect location! So much space for 15 of us to live for week and not feel tight. Plenty of room to be together when wanted (big family dinners all at 1 table) and room to hide away with own space when need alone time. Fenced in back yard AWESOME for special needs son & niece. Beach was great. Location and neighbors lovely. Highly recommend. I’d stay every year if could swing it!

This property is a 5 star property. Inside and outside space is very well designed for large groups. Clean, spacious, nice lighting, big dining room table. Of course close to beach, and the host is very responsive to the guests.

A Wonderful Winter Holiday

Our extended family of 7 adults spent Christmas week in Lavallette and had a wonderful time. The house is great -- lots of space and beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. Many windows throughout the main floor make it bright and airy. Plenty of separate seating areas, so the XBox players, the cooks, the readers and the conversationalists could each be "alone" yet within eyesight of other family members. Two large TV areas with comfie seating. We didn't use the backyard but it was spacious and there was evidence of nice furniture and flower pots everyone so in warm weather it must be beautiful. The house had great heat (something I had worried about) and great water pressure. Kitchen is amazing and well stocked. Susan is an excellent host - helpful, pleasant and quick to respond to text or email. She even had two Christmas trees and decorations up for us! One block walk to great pizza & hoagies (Little Mias); 3 blocks to Megs for a delicious breakfast. The bay beach is an easy walk as well and along with a nice beach area there is a playground. Lavallette beach - literally steps from the house - is really lovely. We walked it for hours every day, collected seashells, watched every sunrise. I will note access to the 6th bedroom requires you to either walk through the 5th bedroom or go outside. Also, the dunes at the edge of the beach are high and you can't see the ocean from the boardwalk...but this makes for a stunning view when you get to the top of the dunes! The dunes also impact the view of the ocean from the house - only the taller members of our family could see it. But those were minor issues for us. We fell in love with this house and just didn't want to leave. We absolutely recommend 4 Virginia Ave, host Susan and Lavallette in general. We are already talking about the possibility of a return trip!

Best vacation

We had the best week. Susan’s house was more beautiful in person. All the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of beds. The kitchen was huge and has everything we needed to make great meals and eat together as a large group. We also enjoyed the outdoor area a lot as well. There was so much room for everyone to spread out and still be together. Susan was so quick to respond to any question and has very helpful information. After a long day at the beach we enjoyed the outdoor shower and stayed up late, playing cards, watching a movie or sitting outside laughing. It was a magical week. Thank you again!

Why they chose this property

Love the close proximity to the beach, you can hear the ocean roar and see the ocean waves. Big house with lots of bedrooms for family and friends and a large inviting kitchen with a table that sits 14 for dinners.
