Looking for the ultimate Ubud getaway? Villa Tau is a large, 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom retreat just 15 minutes north of central Ubud, surrounded by stunning rice fields.
It’s the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation - no cooking, no cleaning, no stress, thanks to our villa team of four.
✔ Four Luxury Bedrooms: All fitted with king-size beds, private seating areas, and Balinese inspired en-suite bathrooms. Bonus: The Joglo Suite is an architectural masterpiece, set apart for ultimate privacy, while the garden cottage is private and quiet.

We've always loved Bali and we’ve always been keen travellers so, time permitting, we try and spend as much time at our properties as we can with our family. But, because - tragically - life can't be one long holiday, we rent our properties out to guests as well! We endeavour to make our guests’ stay as memorable as possible - which our reviews attest to.
Why they chose this property
Ubud really is the cultural heartland of Bali and we love the arty, laid-back feeling of the whole area. Our guests love it too, so we decided to add another villa in Ubud to our portfolio.
When we originally saw Villa Tau it was bright orange with tasteless features. Yet the potential was huge – large open-plan spaces, a great location and a really solid build. In addition, it has all sorts of little extras that work beautifully in a villa rental. We were sold. We started our renovation and a month later Covid struck! Unable to get back to Bali for two years we completed a large part of the renovation on FaceTime. Luckily, it wasn’t our first rodeo with our architect/builder and he did an amazing job completing it as he did.
We’ve transformed the original villa to create a home with a modernish Balinese-colonial feel. As with all our properties, we have tried to give it charm and character combined with ease-of-use. We love to collect art and different pieces and we hope this is reflected in the villa.
Because the villa has such a fantastic flow for entertainment we thought we’d add a pool table – a first for us – and our guests have loved it!

It combines all the advantages of a holiday rental with the advantages of a small boutique hotel, that provides all the services you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Because we are not a self-catering villa, and with a full staff to take care of everything you may need, you can do what you are meant to do on holiday - relax and enjoy rather than cook and clean!
