You are looking for a traditional house with modern comfort for 4 people, nestled in a secluded alley, 5 minutes walk from the Kamogawa River and 10 minutes from Gion? Gojo Machiya will be your peaceful haven!



Upon your arrival, you will be charmed by its warm atmosphere and the living room space. You can enjoy either the numerous nearby restaurants or the calm of the house and share a meal with family or friends. Upstairs, you will have a choice between the Western-style bedroom with 2 single beds or the tatami space equipped with 2 futons.



Its particularity is its location in an intimate alleyway exclusively reserved for residents. It should be noted that, in addition, you will have the pleasant sensation of being part of the local Japanese community if by chance you meet one of the neighbours, whose kindness and conviviality are no longer in question.
