Uan Kyoto is a lovely place in an excellent location in Kyoto. Satoru made checking in and out a breeze. We ate three times at recommended restaurants and each time was a hit. I highly recommend staying here.
We really enjoyed our stay in Kyoto in this tradition home. It had everything we needed for us and our toddler. Thank you for having us and for the sake. Lovely area to be in. Mika kindly met us when we arrived to show us around
Brilliant little house in a great part of Kyoto. Great that the owner met us on site and help during the week. Great to have a kitchen as well as some brilliant restaurants near by… can’t recommend it more highly.
The place was exquisite. So beautiful, peaceful, clean and comfortable. The bath was Japanese style and nice and hot. It was in a gorgeous area, away from crowds but easy to get to temples by bus or walking. The host was so helpful and even went to get an adaptor for our laptop late at night. Can’t say enough good things. Hope to come back again with our family. Thank you so much
Host was welcoming, greeted us when we arrived, the place itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could need for a stay. Walkable to the main areas of Kyoto but also far enough for some respite from the busy area
The Hoshi House was truly the highlight of our stay. From start to finish, the experience felt seamless and luxurious. The communication was thoughtful and consistent from the moment we booked, and being personally greeted by Saturo made everything feel even more welcoming. The home itself is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well situated. You’re within walking distance to local adventures like exploring temples and shrines amazing restaurants, and even a Family Mart for convenience.Don’t hesitate to book this space. It’s authentic, comfortable, and creates the feeling of having your own private Kyoto oasis.Thank you for helping us create such a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back.
We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to many Kyoto attractions and to subway and bus stops. The beautiful homes have lovely traditional Japanese elements as well as modern amenities. Communication with the owner’s staff is excellent! Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Clean and comfortable and with easy access to tourist sites and public transportation. The kitchen facilities were great and having access to laundry was a big plus. We tried many of the recommendations in the owner's guide book and these recommendations were spot on. Thank you.
this property was peaceful, clean, comfortable, well equipped, and gorgeous. communication was incredible, and checkin/checkout was easy. we only wished we had stayed longer!
The home was immaculate with every amenity provided. Close enough to many sites but far enough away to provide a peaceful stay.We would highly recommend staying here for any of our friends and family in the future looking to stay in Kyoto.
We stayed at Hoshi for 4 nights and every aspect of our stay was wonderful. We had a lovely welcoming by Satoro who showed us around the property and how to use the facilities (the all in one washer/drier was a real bonus for us after being in Japan for 5 days, already. We would stay at Hoshi again if lucky enough to return to Kyoto. It really is in the best location. What a beautiful stay we had. Thank you.
My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. A beautiful gem of a place and the host was very nice and communicative. We can't wait for our next trip to Kyoto and stay here again!
My family and I had a wonderful stay in Kyoto in a modern, yet traditional style home.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted that you and your family enjoyed your stay in our Kyoto home. It was a pleasure to host you, and we hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Kyoto!
The house has all amenities listed, with the exception of a "hot tub", I think they mean bath tub. The space was perfect for two could easily and comfortably accommodate 4. Location is great, a ten minute walk to the train station, with two Lawson's en route. The property manager is very responsive, kind, and knowledgeable about the area. Have a great recommendation for delicious tonkatsu. We had a great time at Uan House!

We loved our stay in this beautiful house with great amenities. A fantastic location, close to many temples, gardens and cafes. The hosts were very accommodating and gave clear communication for the check in. There are also amazing forest walks nearby that pass through a number of less visited temples. We hope to return some day soon.

Hi. My name is Kei. I was born and raised in Kyoto. My family has lived here for more than 250 years. I renovated my houses and started B&B simply because it's very fantastic to meet new guests and to have conversations with them. As a genuine Kyotoite, it would be great if I can show you the core beauty of Kyoto.
