About this property
3 bed seaview cottage
This traditional style charming cottage with stone frontage is situated on a quiet country lane. It enjoys magnificent views over Kenmare Bay and the Magillicuddy Reeks. The picturesque town of Kenmare is just three kilometres away offering enchanting shops, award winning restaurants and pubs with a warm Irish welcome.
The house has been decorated to give a cottage-like effect with sloping ceilings and traditional features. There are three spacious bedrooms - one downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and can sleep up to 6 people. The downstairs bedroom is a single room and upstairs there is a bedroom with a double and a single bed (this single bed can be moved downstairs to the single room if required to make it a twin room) and a twin room. Each bedroom has a wash hand basin. We can also provide a baby cot and highchair. The bathroom upstairs features a shower but no bath. There is a toilet downstairs.
A large fully fitted kitchen cum dining room has every modern convenience. The living room has been fitted with a pine floor and ceiling and wall panelling. An open fire adds to the charm of this room along with breathtaking views of Kenmare Bay and Carrauntohill - Ireland's highest mountain.
Home baking, wine and a welcome pack will be there on arrival to help you relax and enjoy your holiday. Your host is an experienced walking guide and would be happy to give advice on mountain and hill walking in the area. Broadband internet access is also available for your convenience.
Located 5km from a safe pebble beach and there are beautiful sandy beaches within an hour's drive.
Gas and electricity is an extra charge during Oct-May inclusive, is meter-read and payable onsite.
