Communication and help with the manager was wonderful. We did have several issues with the house that her and her husband properly took care of. I do feel there is some deferred maintenance on the house that the owner needs to take care of. A little TLC on this house would bring it up to a more desirable property for sure.

Great location. Great setting. Quiet and peaceful. Views of the bay, mountains and golf course would have been spectacular but for the overgrown shrubbery blocking all the ground floor views. Spacious and fairly well-equipped. Could have used an outdoor chair or two. The property manager was friendly and helpful. Would have been a 5 star review except for the condition of the carpeting. In need of serious cleaning or replacement.

Stunning views

A very nice sized house with comfortable furniture and amazing views over to the Beara peninsula. Good location and all the mod cons needed. Hosts very pleasant to deal with. Bathrooms and bedrooms could be a little cleaner. Especially if kids are playing around. Bath mats were not provided.

Gorgeous View!

Really loved our stay, wish it were longer. The house was very clean and well equipped. And the caretakers were absolutely wonderful, super helpful with how to use the water heater and with great recommendations for the area. Would love to go back. The location was great for the area, just 10 minutes from Kenmare and had just the most beautiful view. :)

Home from home!

Super location, spacious house, facilities were all great! Helga was great help too! The only negative is the road to the house from the main road! Driving, running and cycling were all an issue because of the unmarked speed bumps and numerous potholes!
Response from VrboOwner on 7 July 2023
Hi Keith Many thanks for completing the feedback survey, we appreciate your comments as well as your scores. We will refer back to the owners committee about the road. Delighted you enjoyed the facilities and we will pass on your comments to our new on site manager Helga. We look forward to welcoming you again to Trident Holiday Homes.

Pretty spacious and quiet house

The house is well equipped, the kitchen too, with salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, trash bags, dishwasher tablets... The mattress in the en-suite room could be changed. For the others, I don’t know.

Never disappoints & always a pleasure to stay at ROK

Everything about the ROK houses are perfect for a relaxing quality filled stay, hence why we keep coming back year after year. Service is top notch as always. It would be great if both TV’s could show Saorview and Free to Air on each rather than Individually as is the case at the moment. WiFi is a good addition to the house, ensuring stability of service is key.

Absolute gem a bit far out

These houses were absolutely amazing. Loads of space for the group we had, and wayyy nicer than we were expecting for the price we paid. The road into the actual houses was absolutely terrible, covered in unmarked, almost dangerous speed-bumps. The location of the house is okay if you have a car, otherwise it’s a bit far out.

Lovely family holiday

On arrival we were all surprised by the size of the property, it's light and spacious. It has a lovely feel to it. The only thing we missed was comfortable garden furniture , the picnic table is the only thing and that's not particularly comfy. Beds really comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Good WiFi. Smart tv.. We had a great holiday. The locatio is very quiet. We don't play golf, the house is probably better suited to people who do as it is located on the golf coutse, but it isn't essential 😉...............................

Exceptional location

The host, Helga was very helpful and nice and had a huge box of chocolate as welcome pack waiting for us when we arrived. The view was outstanding and the house was very spacious and accommodating. we will definitely come back. Small things such as dish washer tablet, coffee and tea were missing... However it was not a big deal as the supermarket was only a few minutes drive away. It would be better to include the cost of electricity, gas and towels to the total cost rather than paying them separately. Last thing the plates need to be replaced as they were broken.
Response from VrboOwner on 7 July 2023
Hi Hadi Many thanks for completing the feedback survey following your stay in the Ring of Kerry holiday homes. Helga will be delighted with your generous praise and we will also pass on comments re missing/broken items, As different clients use different amounts of electricity it is left to the clients to use and pay for their own usage, We hope to welcome you back to Trident Holiday Homes again.
