Nerja Paradise Rentals - Apartment El Califa 3

Location is the key with this charming renovated two-bedroom apartment which is located on the ground floor of the small El Califa complex with just 10 apartments, right opposite the Parador Hotel of Nerja. Burriana Beach is a five-minute walk from the complex, and the historic centre of Nerja with the famous Balcón de Europa an easy ten-minute walk.



The apartment has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with french windows opening out to the large terrace with outside table for al fresco dining - with direct access to the gardens and pool area. There is a large, airy Kingsize double bedroom and another bedroom with twin single beds. The apartment has two bathrooms, one ensuite from the main bedroom and one full bathroom both with walk in showers.



Facilities include a fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher,washing machine and fridge freezer, safe, free wifi, Smart TV with international channels and air-conditioning in the living room. The complex shares private parking spaces which are available on a first come first served basis. The communal pool is 12m x 5m with depths 1.2m to 1.8m, is surrounded by large gardens and terraces and is open year-round.



All rentals include bed linen and towels which are changed weekly for stays over 10 nights. End of stay cleaning is also included. We have a range of optional services available at an additional cost and subject to availability - including welcome food packs, cots, highchairs, beach towels, additional housekeeping, taxi transfers and pets (on request) ...

Nerja really does offer something for everyone – whether wandering around the typically Spanish streets of whitewashed houses and the famous Balcón de Europa, shopping in the lively commercial area, enjoying the many water sports available at one of our amazing beaches, hiking in the incredible Sierra Almijara or making the most of free tapas still served with drinks in most bars – you’ll never be bored!



The local caves – Cueva de Nerja – and the neighbouring hillside “Pueblo Blanco”, Frigiliana, are incredible must-sees during your stay. Further afield but within easy reach there are waterparks, aquariums, zoos, golf courses, the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountain range with fabulous skiing over the winter months and the beautiful Andalusian cities of Málaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada. Nerja has a great network of public transport – or you can hire a car to discover the area at your own pace.

Great location for a quick stay

The location is perfect, a sweet spot between beach and town! The apartment itself was very clean with new bathrooms & kitchen fitted. It was the little things like having no wine glasses, plenty of plates but very few bowls, 1 tea-towel in the kitchen. We were a family of 4 so these small things are important when you’re using the balcony for drinks & lunchtime.

Everyting was fine with the apartment, only downside were things outside of your control. The next door owners/tenants smoked continously on the terrace making it impossible for us to use our terrace. Nothing you can do I'm sure, but for non-smokers, it's a big issue.

Apartment El Califa 3 was a very secure property and had everything and more if required

The shower room was very compact and versatile, only thing I thought was missing was a small shelf beside sink to put shaving things on whilst shaving, lotions, aftershave, eau de perfume, although the bathroom furniture under sink keeps things hidden and tidy.

The place was done to a high standard and with access to the pool as well as locality to shops, restaurants, town and the beach it was an all round perfect spot. The apartment is in a fab location for walking round the town, possible parking is available and a car will give so many more places to see, the entry and exit of apartment is very easy with all the information provided. spotlessly clean and comfortable the team are on hand if needed, highly recommended. A long mirror on a wall would be a good addition.

Lovely Stay at Apartment Califa

Just back from our second say at Apartment Califa. Again a lovely stay. The apartment was spotless, perfect location near to Burriana Beach, The Balcon and shops, and is very well equipped and has everything you need. Nerja Paradise Rentals are a pleasure to deal with, helpful and responsive and answer any questions quickly. We had a fabulous time. Please replace the pillows in the main bedroom - they were flat, lumpy and hard and affected our !!

Brilliant, just brilliant

The location is superb with easy access to the whole town without being in the middle of the hubbub. We love the staff, nothing is too much trouble and too difficult to single anyone out. Amazing company, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Replace the water pump system. It shouldn’t require such heavy maintenance. Bed is wonderful with the topper but a tad too hard without.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. In a great position. The staff were exceptionally helpful when we had a couple of water issues early on but thankfully resolved efficiently. Outside of their control were a number of issues that did detract from our experience but I’m told that are being dealt with by the owner of the building next door. We enjoyed it enough to book for two more visits! Staff are lovely. Nothing that we’ve not told you about

Location was perfect the apartment was nicely furnished with all amenities. Nice small welcome pack and fresh flowers on table on arrival. Office local in case of any problems Ask the owners of the property next door to not leave their dog for hours on end to bark- very annoying but not the dogs fault

Great apartment, modern, clean and had everything you needed. Fab pool, plenty of sun loungers. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Supermarket and bakery around the corner. 5 minutes walk to centre. Great communication with Nerja paradise. Would definitely return The only minor thing is, we would have liked mirrors in bedroom. Couldn’t see in small mirror in living room without being on tip toes . Don’t like using hairdryer in bathroom with all the steam from shower.

The apartment in Nerja was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, including shops, restaurants, and the beach, yet still quiet and relaxing. It was easy to get around and explore the surrounding area. The apartment itself was very clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials. Communication with the host was smooth and professional, and check-in was simple and convenient. Overall, everything was great, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would happily return in the future. Maybe one large mirror in the bedroom to check the full outfit.
