A charming, newly renovated apartment in a residential complex with a shared pool and a small private garden, just 15 minutes from the beach.Located in the Pisan hills, just a few minutes from the medieval village of Guardistallo—where you’ll find the main amenities and shops—it can accommodate up to 4 people and features a beautiful living room with a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a TV and a sleeper sofa (140x190), a double bedroom with a TV and a private outdoor area with a laundry area, and a full bathroom with a shower. The apartment, equipped with air conditioning in both rooms, features a small private garden with a dining table and a beach umbrella. Guests have access to both a beach umbrella and two lounge chairs. Private parking is available within the residence. A restaurant is within walking distance of the property, while the beach and all major amenities are just a few minutes’ drive away.Plumbago is strategically located just a few minutes’ drive from Guardistallo, a charming medieval village in the hills overlooking the Etruscan Riviera, 12 km from the sea. Just a few kilometres away, you can visit the medieval villages of Casale Marittimo, Montescudaio, Castagneto Carducci, and Bolgheri, as well as Etruscan sites. The Tyrrhenian coast (Cecina, 9 km away) is just a few minutes’ drive away, featuring sandy beaches and cool pine forests. Its favourable location makes it an excellent starting point for exploring areas of natural and cultural interest. From here, you can easily organise day trips to the most interesting destinations in Tuscany: Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Massa Marittima, Bolgheri, and the famous “DOC” wine region (we recommend wine tastings and visits to the award-winning wineries of Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Guado al Tasso, or Grattamacco). Other equally important destinations include a visit to the Island of Elba, the Venturina and Casciana Terme spas with their hot thermal waters and mud treatments, the Val di Cornia Parks, and the Maremma Nature Reserve.

For sports enthusiasts, the choices are endless: from water sports (swimming, sailing, windsurfing) to running (in the cool pine forests of Marina di Cecina, through the woods, or along the hillside roads) to cycling. The Etruscan Coast is an ideal destination for cyclists, who can ride through hills and plains.

For golf enthusiasts, the nearest courses are in Tirrenia and Punta Ala.

For our younger guests, we recommend the following children’s amusement parks: Cavallino Matto in Marina di Donoratico (16 km), the Prehistoric Park in Peccioli (40 km), and Acqua Village in Cecina Mare (12 km). Nature lovers and adventure seekers can try the “Il Giardino Sospeso” adventure park in Giardino (Riparbella, 10 km away), featuring tree-top obstacle courses.

Rome is 2½ hours away, Florence 1½ hours, Pisa 50 minutes, Siena 2 hours, and Volterra 30 minutes.

The beaches are just a 15-minute drive away, with ferry service to the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.
