Azkoitia, birthplace of great handball champions and the "little gentlemen of Azkoitia", important figures in the dissemination of Basque illustration, is located in the heart of the Urola valley in Gipuzkoa, a few kilometers from the Sanctuary of Loyola and the Azpeitia railway museum, with the coast about 30 minutes away by car, and with numerous hiking options to do through the nearby Izarraitz mountain. Well connected to the main roads, it is an ideal place to get to know a valley that offers many options for family fun, and also to travel, less than an hour away, to any of the Basque capitals; Bilbao, San Sebastian, Vitoria…
