Stunning spot! Just be aware there is No elevator and lots of steps to go up with luggage ! Even with that , I would stay there again. Super clean and great location
Beautiful apartment with stunning views and an ideal location. We could not have asked for a better stay! Our host was so helpful - even went out of our way to help us retrieve a lost passport!! We loved Cefalu, in no small part due to our host Sergio and his wonderful apartment. We hope to return some day!
The views are absolutely incredible and one of the biggest highlights of this apartment. Being at the top of the building provides stunning panoramic views, but be prepared for quite a few flights of stairs to reach it.
The location is excellent, right in the city center. However, this does mean you'll likely need to park outside the main square and walk, or arrange transportation with a taxi that has permission to enter the restricted area.
The apartment itself is clean, charming, and well-maintained. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but they are comfortable and functional. One thing we especially appreciated was the excellent water pressure and consistent hot water, which isn't always guaranteed in Italy. The air conditioning also worked very well, which was a huge plus during the hot weather.
There were a few areas where the experience could be improved. The apartment was stocked with only a very limited amount of toilet paper and did not include paper towels, coffee, or some of the basic amenities commonly provided in vacation rentals.
Communication was generally good, although at times the host seemed somewhat stressed or impatient. During check-in, we were asked to provide an arrival time based on our drive from another town. Once we arrived, we still needed to find parking and arrange transportation to the apartment, and the host's messages made it seem as though our slight delay was causing frustration. It wasn't a major issue, but it created a somewhat uncom
You couldn’t ask for a better location. However, the listing needs to be more clear on the amount of steps to the apartment. It is not for the faint of heart! They are steep and tight. I had some people traveling with me that could barely make it once a day. Water pressure could be better, but it’s an old building on the fourth floor of an old town, so deal with it. :-). Other than that the views and accommodation were really good!
