Town: Aberlour is on the River Spey and surrounded by the Cairngorm Mountains and Moray Firth. 50 whisky distilleries are within 15 miles of the town, known for the Whisky Trail and Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Many of these distilleries have great tourist centres with tastings. The nearby River Spey attracts fisherman, and walkers will enjoy the Speyside Way, one of Scotland's four Long Distance Routes. Aberlour is a good location for exploring Scotland.
