A Very Nice Apartment in Rothes

This owner has really done a nice job setting up an apartment in the middle of Speyside. Very nice home like touches. Would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent property, and we had a great few days. It is decorated to a high modern standard, but retaining a cosy feel. The bedrooms and living areas are very comfortable and the kitchen has really everything you need. The welcome was great, with the fridge stocked with the basics (butter, milk, baked goods) to get you going as well as some chocolate treats, coffee pods and hot chocolate pods for the coffee machine. A decanter of single malt whisky is left out for a wee welcome drink which is a lovely touch. The host booked us a taxi with a reputable local firm to get us to and from our whisky tastings, and was very helpful and prompt in replying to our messages. The property is really well located for touring the numerous whisky distilleries in the area but also for the wider area, and while the village of Rothes is small it has a good quality restaurant and bar at the nearby Station Hotel (2 mins walk away).

A Gem In Rothes

A quaint cottage feel provides a true Scottish village life experience. Clean and welcoming touches makes your stay very comfortable. Walking distance to village services and the Glen Grant distillery. Great experience for our family.

A little gem

We had an amazing three night stay here. We didn’t expect to find so many personal touches for such a short visit. When we arrived there was milk and bread left out for us including some small chocolates. The accommodation is finished to an extremely high standard and would not hesitate in recommending this property to friends and family.

whisky base

a very nice apartment with everything you need plus a surprise welcome pack and welcome DRAM, although we found the double bed very soft & lumpy and not the best for us with back problems. Rothes not the best of place,although good base for speyside distilleries.

Very good apartment

Very good apartment with good reach of some tourist destinations. We drove to RSPB Troup Head, Fraserburgh and Cruden Bay and Nairn from Mary's Apartment. The apartment itself was cosy, clean with complimentary biscuits! Would stay again.

Beautiful Homely Apartment

The apartment is beautiful. 2 very large bedrooms and brand new kitchen with all necessary appliances. Beds very comfortable and heating works great and is easily adjustable. Very nice touches around the place with Christmas decorations and the grocery welcome pack was very good and very much appreciated. This property is a credit to its owners who communicated very well from booking to checkout. I cannot recommend enough. There are plenty of pubs and places to eat in Rothes and it is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas.
