The comfortable and cosy cottage is situated just metres from the sea on the beautiful Moray Coast and benefits from delightful sea views Regularly you can see the dolphins from the beach.

The town centre of Buckie is just a short walk from the cottage with a selection of shops, pubs, café's, take outs and it's own leisure centre including swimming pool.

It is ideally placed to visit the abundance of quaint fishing villages and picturesque harbours littered along this part of the Scottish coastline. The stunning scenery can be appreciated as you follow the Speyside Way or Malt Whisky Trail, both within easy reach of the cottage.

Just yards from the cottage is the old Buckpool Harbour which now features a play park for younger children and football pitch.

Moray is a top destination for sea fishing, as well as Salmon and Trout fishing on the world famous River Spey and the River Findhorn. There are activities such as paddle boarding, coasteering, mountain biking, walking, hiking, hill walking, climbing and winter sports. Moray is the county of Macbeth and is steeped in history, with a wealth of castles, historical buildings and sites to explore. Moray is whisky country and has its own Malt Whisky Trail, which is a unique selling point for the area.

Old Friends Get-together

Myself and 3 old school friends met up in the area. A very good base to explore that corner of Scotland, the neighbours were all friendly and welcoming, and we were blessed with unusually good weather. Would recommend the property to anyone wanting to do the same.
