Just a few steps down the road is The Wykeham Arms, (winner of various Good Pub Guide awards) sandwiched between the Cathedral and the 14th century college; this luxurious country pub is surrounded by English heritage. The pub is noted county wide for its hearty food and will welcome you in on your return from the high-street markets or a treat back from the theatre, if you don’t fancy cooking.
