2nd visit and we will probably go back. The cottage is clean, warm, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Dog friendly and with access to 25 acres of pasture land for dog walking. The cottage owners are on hand and very friendly and left lovely locally produced goodies.Everything works as it should and is very good quality - from the bedding to the washer-dryer to the crockery.Lots of local walks and history. Village pubs and coffee shops plus easy access to Hope Valley for sight-seeing and caverns.A visitor called it "a gem of a find" and we agree. We would highly recommend and are already planning a return trip.

Really loved the cottage.
Really loved the cottage. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, lovely touches include the small local paintings etc giving it a real warm homely feel. Backing onto fields and surrounded by farms with the hills in the distance. Ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area. Great local facilities and Chesterfield about half hour away if you need anything more. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
