Great, away-from-it-all accommodation in lovely, quiet countryside.
Great, away-from-it-all accommodation in lovely, quiet countryside. Very helpful owners who lived next door and provided lots of local information (and even loaned us a couple of folding garden chairs as we had forgotten ours!!) Would certainly recommend the village pub for a meal. We'ld certainly have no hesitation in booking another week at this property.

Lovely property which is a great location for exploring the area.
Lovely property which is a great location for exploring the area. It is a newly converted barn and has everything you would want or need. The design of the barn affords privacy from the owners house. The Railway Inn at the bottom of the hill does good food. The local shop has a good selection of food etc and both are walkable from the property. We saw Buzzards and Red Kites flying over when sitting on the patio.

Lovely accommodation with beautiful views.
Lovely accommodation with beautiful views. Peaceful location but off the beaten track. The barn is very well equipped. It's lovely to have plenty of towels and loo rolls! The welcome pack is also a great touch. Very well equipped kitchen.Plenty of sockets and big bedroom mirrors. You would be amazed how many properties don't have these!Would highly recommend this property if you want peace and quiet. Rick and Natalie are also great hosts.
The property is lovely, very peaceful, extremely comfy - best nights sleep ive ever had - the little stream babbling outside the bedroom drifted me off nicely! Well equipped, lovely homemade bread in a welcome pack, good information available about the local area. Could not fault it. Lots of wildlife. Owners very welcoming and laid back. Good location for exploring the falls and lake vrynwy. Was very sad to leave. Only tricky bit is the road leading up, dont think i got out of 1st gear, but its manageable and worth the drive. All in all i suggest if your thinking of booking - just do it!
It's not often, that the place matches the description. The property do!
We all really enjoy our state in the house. It is well-designed: two spacious rooms, huge entry hall, two bathrooms and the big kitchen. The house is extremely well-equipped with everything what you need to stay (starting from washing machine, finishing cutlery and wine opener). In the same time, the place wasn't cluttered by unnecessary stuff, but has a few elements giving it the character. The location is very peaceful. I was a bit disappointed that the weather didn't allow any star gazing. The hosts are a lovely couple, very helpful, living next door, but not intrusive. They prepared a very appropriate welcome pack.
The only disadvantage of this beautiful place is the entry road and the amount of sheep poo on it. It makes the surface really slippy, even for high class 4x4, so be careful. Also, is make a walk down to the village, not too nice.
