Superb accommodation & location. Lovely owners.

Great little cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and both bedrooms have en suites, all immaculately clean. The dog loved the underfloor heating and it kept the place warm & cosy. Lovely place and friendly owners.

A lovely cottage in a delightful yet easily accessible location.

A lovely cottage in a delightful yet easily accessible location. Beautifully laid out kitchen and en-suite bedrooms. The dogs loved exploring the local countryside and the large garden space at the front of the cottage. The owners, who live on site, were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that the living room is rather small for four people + 2 dogs. We will certainly be returning next year. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We absolutely love this cottage and it’s location, this was our fourth visit in the past five year

We absolutely love this cottage and it’s location, this was our fourth visit in the past five years. It’s extremely cosy and comfy with the underfloor heating and log burner, and the efforts the owners make to welcome you is tremendous. We always go in December and the cottage greets you with Christmas decorations, the owners melt in the mouth lemon drizzle cake or mince pies! Set in wonderful countryside, the views and peace are delightful, with pheasants wandering through the garden. Can’t wait to return!

Cottage was well furnished and clean.

Cottage was well furnished and clean. Small and compact, especially the bedroom, kept banging my knee on the bedframe. Sofas not very comfortable for stretching out on. But all that aside was very happy with the cottage and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Great cottage set in a remote, quiet location.

Great cottage set in a remote, quiet location. Perfectly suitable for 4 people wishing to enjoy peace and quiet. Modern facilities are a boon, only gripe is that it was difficult to find on sat-nav. Overall great.

Crabapple Cottage is beautifully equipped, but I was very pleased to be one of just two living there

Crabapple Cottage is beautifully equipped, but I was very pleased to be one of just two living there, and not one of four! Big blokes would have problems in those bathrooms. The two sofas in the sitting room were all right for a quick ten minutes, but half an evening there proved they were not at all comfortable. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our week enormously, and have nothing but praise for everything else about the cottage. And Shropshire is beautiful!

A beautiful property in a lovely location.

A beautiful property in a lovely location. Wonderfully appointed and well-equipped; the cottage was ideal for our short break as a family of 4. Owners were there to give us extra info on arrival and the cake and Prosecco were welcome extra touches. A great location to feel away from it all but close to Oswestry and Welshpool. Great for touring the local National Trusts too. Thanks for a wonderful home from home...hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely quiet break at Crabapple cottage. It was just what was needed after a very hectic Christmas.Simon was very welcoming and the added extras were a lovely touch. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious and a lovely addition to a afternoon tea following a walk at lake Vyrnwy.
