About this property
Swimming lake coast close cosy self contained hobbit house amazing walks &views,
Ed's shed is amazing, with a fully equipped kitchen, fantastic views, a wonderful bed, a wood burning stove a lake to swim in and sit beside, bbq , compost loo, hot shower, sedum and widflower roof. 2 miles from Seatown beach, Jurassic coast, half way between buzzing Bridport Market Town and the charming Lyme Regis Seaside Resort, Golden Cap (2nd highest point on south coast) is in the view. The coastal path and Monarchs way are accessible form the farm. Kingfishers and wild geese and duck are often on the pond. This is a wonderful practical romantic getaway for 2. It was my studio office now I invite you to find the same peace and inspiration as I have. The only downside is the compost loo, which is as clean as those things are and the huge quantities of various wildlife around the adjacent freshwater pond and wild wood to listen to.
I am in a nearby property and can help for local info, as a 10th generation local farmer I have most of the contacts anyone would need. I am also am a keen cyclist and run a paragliding school so tandem flights and bike advice readily available. I'm also an artist, bee keeper and have a resident forager on the farm and very happy to help with that, knowing fantastic local courses.
Minnow, my better looking, more intelligent and downright nicer half is also very well connected locally. She loves walking, yoga, arts and local shows, food, year round sea swimming and caring for the kids so also a fountain of information
