A perfect spot to land in Banff! Walkable to everywhere in town and the setup of private bathrooms for each of the sleeping spaces was perfect for our group. We rented cars to travel in from the airport, so the convenient parking on the lot was great. Would absolutely book again!

Mountain Home was clean & comfortable for our 3 adult couples. There was plenty of space for gathering in the living room. The location was excellent. An easy 10 minute walk to downtown Banff with wonderful restaurants & shops. The kitchen was well appointed & all bedrooms had en-suite baths. The host answered all our questions promptly & gave us suggestions for grocery shopping, etc. There is designated private parking directly behind the property which was very convenient. We never heard or saw the tenant on the basement level of the property. The neighborhood was quiet.

The house was awesome and well stocked with paper products, shower products, etc…. Town of Banff parking rules/locations are a challenge therefore recommend that one space always be available to guests in this house.

This is an honest but limited review. It is on the pricey side, justifiable perhaps by its great location. Average furnishings, some quite worn, with comfortable mattresses. Mostly clean but not spotless. Some window cranks inoperative. Nice fenced front yard for kids to play. Description is mostly accurate. Biggest complaint was indifferent responses to important issues encountered. Check in day: WiFi alert showed “weak security” prominently displayed on settings of Apple devices. When messaged that apparently this can be corrected by adjusting the modem, they replied “unable to assist with configuring the router directly” and suggested I do it myself, which I have no idea how to. Was hoping to use the internet for some sensitive online work while there, but didn’t as cell signal too weak for some apps. No follow up. Indifference displayed again as on 2nd day a smoke alarm started chirping indicating a low battery and we thought it required a micro-USB port to recharge, which we didn’t have. So we put it in the car at night so we could sleep. When told this their response was, “Got it. Have a good night then.” No follow up, no recharged battery for remainder of stay. Considering the price of this rental, I expected better customer service. I don’t expect a chippy attitude from any rental operator, regardless of cost. Prompt acknowledgement of a problem without action is pretty worthless.

Family vacation

Our family of 10 adults spent a wonderful week in Banff. This home was the perfect location, the property manager was very responsive, and had we not run into the tenants who live there when we first parked, we would t have even known they were there. Would for sure stay there again!
