Luxurious Loft is a unique retreat full of elegance and a mix of contemporary and antique. This loft-style space has been beautifully restored with an eclectic mix of artwork, contemporary design and antiques. Away from the crowded tourist streets, you can enjoy an authentic slice of Roman life while being just a few steps away from the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps.
The loft consists of two bedrooms (one double and one with two single beds). The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and a very large and comfortable bath/shower.
The second bedroom is on the upper floor and is connected by a staircase to the open-plan living room with kitchenette.
There is also a second bathroom in the house.
The luxury of the flat is achieved by the intelligent use of materials, wooden floors everywhere, sustainable construction solutions and the presence of air conditioning, heating and a significant water pressure that allows for fantastic restorative showers.

Exclusive design of the apartment, but no cleanliness.
The location of the apartment is very good. Near the central station Termini, good restaurants are very close - I recommend staying.
The apartment has everything you need.
Traveling from the US can be challenging at best. The management company did a nice job assisting with transfer accommodations and the gentleman who met us at the apartment was very pleasant. I would have given this stay more stars but the cleanliness was just a bit off. All in all a very comfortable and convenient place to stay!
Martina's place was beautifully decorated and in a peaceful neighborhood. The recommendations from Martina were helpful for restaurants, grocery stores, tours, etc. It was nice to be close to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, and Roma Termini. Since we went to Pompeii for the day and then to Venice, this train station was near our stay which was very convenient. We also appreciated having the stay on the first level and with a washer and dryer to do laundry. Thanks Martina for having us at your very nice place. We hope to return to your place and Rome soon as we definitely want to see more of the area!

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Amenities, communication
My experience with the management and owner was terrible. I booked the property because the listing clearly stated an 11:00 am checkout. After booking, the management company told me checkout was actually 10:00 am and blamed Expedia. I explained I relied on their posted information, but they refused to honor it and even falsely claimed I was rude. I never requested anything extra—only that they honor their own advertisement. The owner also refused, confirming she was aware. They later told VRBO they couldn’t adjust their cleaners’ schedule.
The neighborhood is somewhat sketchy. While waiting for check‑in, my husband was aggressively approached for money right outside the courtyard door. The courtyard felt secure, though the door was often left unlocked.
The property looks nice at first, but the musty, basement‑like smell was overwhelming until we bought a candle. It is not luxurious or elegant. If a large mirror placed directly in front of the toilet at eye level is your idea of elegance, then perhaps you’ll disagree.
Noise is a major issue—you hear everything from outside and from the neighbors above. The “second bedroom” is an open loft with no privacy and a very low ceiling. The steep, rail-less stairs are unsafe for older adults or children.
Maintenance issues exist: loose shower tiles, a broken handheld sprayer and weak water flow from several fixtures.
The location is not central; expect long walks unless using public transportation.
