Slice of Heaven in Umbria
Staying with Floriana was a dream come true. The villa was gorgeous and perfect for our multigenerational family stay - every bedroom had its own private en suite bath. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved meals around the large kitchen table and evenings on the porch with sunset views and in the family room with a wood burning fireplace, equipped with firewood and starters. The grounds were stunning as well and were fun to explore when we had down time. The villa was perfection and we would hands down come back to stay, but what makes this such a special find is Floriana herself as a host. She greeted us at check in and walked us through the villa to show us how it worked, and arranged for many special extras for our trip in Umbria to be magical - dinner at the villa with a chef (incredible - we even ate from leftovers the remainder of our stay), a truffle hunt, a guided tour of nearby walled cities, an olive harvest tasting and visit to a mill, and more. She went above and beyond in this regard, not just serving as an excellent property host but also a travel agent of sorts. Without her, our trip would not have nearly been as special. She was incredibly reaponsive, kind and helpful. We loved our stay and dream of coming back already. Book this property without hesitation!!
