Property was very nice and clean. There is a large flight of stairs upon entering the unit, which wasn’t a big deal for us as we had small bags, but if you have large suitcases, would be more of a challenge. Check in was super easy and communication was fabulous.

This apartment was perfect for our 4 day trip on Madrid. It was easy to walk, bus or take train to all the places we wanted to visit. The apartment was comfortable and had all that we needed. Javier was accessible and answered my questions quickly. We are so glad we chose this apartment.

The owner was the best. Even though we never met, he was very responsive via email and text. Check in was at 2:00pm, but he let us in early by remote so we could make our 2:00pm tour guide. The street is very noisy though. If you’re a light sleeper like me, it’s not for you. My husband slept right thru the noise.

The great thing about this property is that you are living in a local Madrid neighbourhood. There's supermarkets everywhere, local dining options, three metro stops 3 to 10 minutes walk way, the main train station (Atocha) to all the other main cities in Spain, walking distance (15-20 mins) to hip neighbourhoods like Anton Martin & San Fernando. Javi, our host was in contact and explained everything. The apartment had all that you need to make it a home away from home. Note: the place is really well kept and you get a taste of inner city Madrid living. That means you get garbage trucks, local traffic and patrons coming out of local bars. It comes with living noisy, not disturbing noise and is very safe feeling.

Good Modern Apartment

We were pleased with this updated & comfortable apartment. Neighborhood has plenty of stores and dining, but is away from the large crowds near Plaza Mayor. About 15 minute walk from Atocha station. Supermarket nearby. Apartment is well supplied. Some street noise but host thoughtfully supplies earplugs. Adjoining building is under renovation, which starts about 8am. Short stairway to enter apartment may not be suitable for a handicapped person. Overall a very good apartment.
