Nestled between the beach, golf course and dunes, this precious villa is located in a gated community with direct access to the beach, in an environment that offers privacy, in the middle of nature.



The Troia/Comporta peninsula, with one of the longest beaches in Europe and where you can go horse riding on kilometres of golden sand, known only to a few people, has become an eco/luxury tourist destination frequented by celebrities from all over the world, who find there the balance between privacy, services and nature of unique beauty.



Villa Melissa has a striking contemporary design with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide plenty of luminosity.



To the muted color palette of the minimalist décor, wooden furniture, raffia and traditional basketry aggregated the character of the region.

Villa Melissa was a wonderful addition to our time in Portugal. The house was clean, and the host/ manager was extremely responsive. We felt right at home. A short ferry ride from Setabul, tons of locals restraints, close to the beach and marina. Even saw a pod of dolphins while walking on the beach - 10/10. 25/05/24

I highly recommend Villa, especially for groups

I highly recommend Villa, especially for groups. There are multiple bathrooms available. Comfortable common space and comfortable rooms. There is a beautiful beach nearby and everything you need is provided. Great contact when picking up the house and during the entire stay. We recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday in villa Melissa. The area is of a great beauty - ocean, pine trees, and dunes. Communication has been very easy and effortless - our contact, Andreia, was very helpful and pleasant. Great space for the large party. Would definitely come again. Excellent stay. The villa is modern and big. The backyard is super nice for chilling. Good AC. Nice beds. 18/04/24 Furniture in some of the balconies and rooftop were missing. Gate for car was not functioning.

We had a really nice stay in this house – it works well for a family holiday and is located in a lovely gated community. The beaches nearby are beautiful and very child-friendly, and both the town and several beaches are within walking distance. The house is well-equipped with plenty of bathrooms, lots of towels, a well-assorted kitchen, toys for the kids, and a washing machine. A few things to be aware of: • The pool is not heated and a bit smaller than expected. • Air conditioning comes at an extra cost (35 EUR per night), which is quite expensive. It’s quite warm without and hard to keep cool because of all the big windows. So curtains were shut the whole week. • The house is very nice, but a little more worn than the photos suggest. • Shopping in the local area is very pricey, and the nearest proper supermarket is in Grândola, so having a car is definitely recommended. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed both the house and area 23/09/25

La maison est grande, spacieuse et très bien équipée. Petit point négatif : les photos (surtout de l'extérieur) ne sont plus vraiment à jour par rapport à l'état actuel de la maison. L'extérieur peut paraître plus petit que sur les photos mais suffisant. La maison est située dans une résidence très calme, sécurisé et à 5 minutes à pied de la plage. La communication a toujours été très bonne, encore merci pour votre réactivité. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Je recommande 28/06/25

Der Service und die Ansprechbarkeit von Andreaa war hervorragend. Der offene Küchen- Wohnbereich war toll und auch der Außenbereich. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. 22/05/25 Einige Ausstattungsgegenstände scheinen viel in Anspruch genommen worden zu sein. Und gern mehr Info zur Fähre nach Setubal und anderen Ausflugsmöglichlkeiten in der näheren Umgebung

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt – Villa entspricht nicht den Fotos

Die Villa liegt in guter Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt und mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Auch von außen macht die Villa einen guten Eindruck und die Doppelzimmer sind ansprechend eingerichtet. Allerdings weicht der Zustand der Villa deutlich von den Fotos ab!Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt insgesamt renovierungsbedürftig.Die Außenanlage ist kaum nutzbar: Die Sitzflächen sind verwittert und ungepflegt. Der Poolrand ist von schwarzen Pflanzen bewachsen. In der gesamten Villa roch es stark nach Abfluss, insbesondere in den Bädern, in den Fluren und sogar in den Schlafzimmern!  Aufgrund eines Wasserschadens im Wohnzimmer tropfte Wasser von der Decke und wurde in einer Wanne aufgefangen.Uns wurde gesagt, dass die Reparatur gerade im Gange sei, jedoch wurde bereits in einer Bewertung aus dem September 2024 auf denselben Schaden hingewiesen. Es scheint keine Ausnahme, sondern ein dauerhaftes Problem zu sein? Der Dunstabzug in der offenen Küche funktionierte nicht. In der Spüle lagen noch Essensreste vom vorherigen Aufenthalt.Auch die Zugangskarte für die Einfahrt funktionierte nicht, sodass der Pförtner und jedes Mal das Tor manuell öffnete musste.Insgesamt bietet die Villa eine gute Lage und Potenzial, entspricht derzeit jedoch weder dem beworbenen Zustand noch dem Preisniveau.

About 45 minutes away from Lisbon, Tróia is a peninsula surrounded by 3 natural parks, with the sea, long sandy beaches and mountains enhanced in perfect harmony.
Tróia is a paradise that combines panoramic views with charm. Its unique preservation of nature makes this place an exclusive holiday destination in Portugal.
The white sandy shores and the transparent sea of this place will make you feel far away from everything and close to paradise.
In balance with and respecting the environment it's possible to enjoy a series of activities, ranging from sports to the region’s excellent gastronomy.
In the north coastal region of Alentejo is the Tróia Peninsula, installed on a sand dune, 17 km long and 1.5 km wide. It’s 45 km from Lisbon and its casino and marina and from an 18-hole golf course on the edge of ocean.
Archaeological investigations are in progress, so the Roman ruins are not yet fully open to the public. However, it is possible to visit the workshops of salting fish, baths, and the mausoleum that houses the "Rua da Princesa".
At the southern edge of the peninsula is Comporta, a village of just over 1000 inhabitants, a land of vineyards and rice inserted between the plains of Alentejo and the Atlantic shores. You can visit the "Rice Museum" located in one of the old mills, see the threshing, winnowing and rice hulling and the cellars of the “Herdade Comporta”.
Continuing further south, we arrive at Grândola, a peaceful town in the Alentejo, located 40 km south of Setubal and the mouth of the river Sado, in the plains of cork oaks.
There are 45 km of white sandy beaches that stretch from Tróia to Melides.
