Proper old style traditional wooden cabin , complete with bigger than average hot tub.
Proper old style traditional wooden cabin , complete with bigger than average hot tub. Plenty of space and we had everything we needed in the cabin for a pleasant stay. However both beds were old, bumpy and uncomfortable which impacted our overall enjoyment of the trip. The sofa was also worn and torn in places and is overdue replacement.

Everything we needed was in the cabin.
Everything we needed was in the cabin. All clean and fresh
An amazing place if you want to relax and get away from everyday life.
The lodge we stayed in ( badger lodge) was amazing. It came with everything you need to make your stay comfortable for a family of 4. The lodge include a washing machine, hoover, huge freezer and a hair dryer. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of the stay. A guy comes out and explains all the dials and is cleaned on a daily basis. The area overall is good, there is a play area for young children but not much for teenagers to do apart from a quarry trail.
The only let down for this place is the lighting generally the lodge lounge and bedrooms are dark but the kitchen has good lighting. There is no Wi-Fi or signal so this place is a good place if you want to cut off from the rest of the world with no distractions. The reception area has facilities where you can borrow games and dvds for free to keep you entertained and a well stocked shop. Overall this place is lovely and I would definitely be going back. Staff are lovely and area is very secure

Apart from the couple of issues I will list, the place is near perfect….
Apart from the couple of issues I will list, the place is near perfect….. Badger Lodge 30Slight imperfections are that the hoover in the property really smelt awful when used, we had to air the lodge for a good hour to clear the smell. The seals on the appliances are peeling away revealing grime, possibly fix or replace the fridge/freezer.No hot tub lid opener which meant it took 2 of us to lift the lid off and on everytime we wanted to use it, not ideal if I wanted to use the hot tub in early mornings whilst others in my property are still sleeping.Beds were also quite uncomfortable but I understand that’s down to personal preference.
