This large open light and bright, 2000 sq. ft. Oceanfront Beach House features spectacular views of Arch Cape, Castle Rock, Tillamook Head Lighthouse, Cannon Beach, Haystack Rock and Cape Falcon. Views, views and more views. Located at the south end of Falcon Cove Beach. Our beach house is a 5 minute walk down Tide Avenue to beach access. It has floor to ceiling windows with an open, bright and sunny, great room floor plan. There are ocean views from every window in this house. Nesting eagles can be seen near the southern tip of Falcon Cove where the cabin is located. A private location that is bright and sunny with a tree house feel. Falcon Cove Beach is also a designated Shoreside Marine Protected Sanctuary. Nestled in the forest of Oswald West State Park. Just north of Short Sands camping sites and just 5 minutes from surfing at Oswald State Park. The Oregon Coast Trail takes you to Short Sand from Falcon Cove Road. There are many other trails are nearby.
This beach house is in secluded Falcon Cove between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, both 7 mi or 11 km away.
It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Wi-Fi and landline phone. No TV screen so bring your laptop for streaming. Parking fits 4 cars. Very private on two large forested lots.
Sleeping accommodates 4 people. It has one double bed, two queen beds, one with a twin bunk above. Extra linens and new towels in the laundry room linen closet. Extra blankets and pillows in each closet. There are three new mattresses and mattress covers. New bed linens, new duvet and covers, new pillows, new blankets for each room. New paint and new washer and dryer, new refrigerator and new pots and pans and a new microwave. New AC Heat pump for heating and cooling and no more fossil fuels in this home.
There is a sunset viewing deck on the lower level with two side tables and four chairs. This quiet, peaceful retreat has a wood burning fireplace with wood provided. Enjoy our record player, Bluetooth tuner, piano, books, games and puzzles. There is no TV. The dining table is large plus an extra folding table behind piano for crafts, games and puzzles. The large, open kitchen has all the necessary appliances, utensils, dinnerware and cookware. This includes a microwave, coffee maker and coffee grinder and toaster. Lots of dishware and utensils for dinners or cooking or baking. The First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguishers are in the kitchen and laundry room. For young children please bring a baby gate for stairway.
Sorry no dishwasher, no smoking inside, no TV and no pets allowed.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Empty fridge, take out kitchen garbage. Wash one load of towels leave in dryer at maximum dry.
Close and lock all doors and windows. Turn heat down to 63
Check that all appliances and stove coffee maker are turned off
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Kitchen was very well stocked. It could use more lighting overall, however. Very comfortable beds. Our host Tracey was very communicative when we were a bit confused by the combination lock on the door. The place has a rustic and beautiful feel to it, and you can see the waves coming in a hundred feet plus below through the living room and dining room. Our last day there it was raining pretty hard and we just stayed in and read and listened to music.

Such a gorgeous location! I couldn't stop taking photos from the deck and from the windows! The house is wonderful and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The directions to the house were clear and accurate and the detailed information provided by the owners was invaluable. I will miss the beauty and the peacefulness very much.

Perfect Beach House!

Everything about this stay was great! The piano (which our son loved and played almost every moment we had free time), the views (we couldn’t get enough!), the history, the wildlife, and all of the details and pictures throughout the house!The beach walk was so fun as well, almost as if you have your own private beach! Very few people were down there every time we went for a swim. The roar of the ocean waves put us all to sleep very quickly after some long swims in the crisp ocean waters. We hope to be back in the future and make this a tradition as a family!Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Cozy

The home was cozy and very rustic. We loved all the old games and records and my son loved playing the poano the whole time! Having no tv was awesome too! Comfy and loved the fire! Will definitely return :)

A True Gem

We've stayed in a few places on the Oregon Coast, but this was one we'll revisit again and again. Private and charming, this house felt like a family retreat. The thoughtful touches like split firewood, seafood utensils, clear instructions, and plentiful supplies gave us a worry-free stay that felt relaxing and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows upstairs gave us unparalleled views while eating, cooking, and relaxing; and waking each morning to the sounds of waves and birds with trees out each window felt truly sublime.The only change we would've made would be to stay longer. Thank you Tracy and family for sharing your home with us. We hope to return soon.

Our favorite beach getaway

We absolutely love this property. The views are spectacular, and the house is quiet and secluded but still close to all the fun in Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The owners are great to work with and keep the house very clean. Also, the beds are very comfortable! We’ve stayed there three years in a row and plan to continue to visit every summer.

Wonderful location for a get-away!

This spacious, yet cozy home sits up in the trees above the beach at Arch Cape with beautiful views. The kitchen is well equipped, lots of games and puzzles, and cozy corner by the fireplace. A great place for a family/friends stay or a romantic get-away for two.

Cozy home in a stunning setting!

Such a lovely well-loved home in a stunning setting! The house was cozy with a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It's a perfect getaway for anyone, especially those who love a rustic house perched on a forested cliff with lots of windows that overlook the wild Pacific. Arch Cape is a great location, close to the cute town of Cannon Beach and several beautiful state parks with terrific hiking.

Great location/comfy stay

The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is well equipt. The location is excellent.. we walked down to the beach, close to Hug Beach, etc. It's a great place to stay with lots of room for everyone. The big windows have salt or some light film on them that hinders the view. Otherwise, we really enjoyed staying there and the hosts were great.

Killer oceanfront views

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay overlooking the ocean, seeing some eagles playing just above our heads, and sitting by the fire listening to music. My wife is a foodie and she felt the kitchen was very well supplied, too.

Private family cabin with epic views

Incredible views

The view

Love the fact that there is no tv! Enjoyed the records, the view and the fireplace. Location was perfectly situated between cannon beach and manzanita. Beds were comfortable with great views from the bed.

All you could hope for inside and out

If you’re looking for a quaint, quiet, cozy, comfortable and immaculate getaway among the maritime forest overlooking the Pacific, this is your place. Puzzles, games, and a wood burning fireplace make this an ideal place for those looking to get away from it all, but within a short drive to Manzanita and Cannon Beach.

We purchased the land in the late 50's then built the house in 1967. The floor to ceiling windows, the vaulted roof and kitchen pass through counter all reflect this time period. Our family grew up with most the neighbors in this community on our summer breaks and holidays. The rest of the time we mostly resided in Portland Oregon. We hope you love this area as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location. The Livermore Beach House is only ten minutes to Cannon Beach and ten minutes to Manzanita. Nestled in the forest of Oswald West State Park. Five minutes to surfing at nearby Oswald State Park and five minutes to Hug Point. Hikes and whale watching from Neakahnie mountain are only five minutes away. Oregon Coast Trail crosses Falcon Lane as you enter our community. It makes for a lovely day hike to surfing at Oswald State Park or to Arch Cape. Our Beach House has a very private, spacious, tree house feel. For people with physical limitations drive to Manzanita just south of us to an easy, level entrance to the beach.
