From the start Marie and her partner were welcoming hosts and showed us around, so easy to get along with ans friendly. She responded to messages promptly and the place was amazing! We had an incredible tine with the family and fluffy friends. Would 100% come back again. You are amazing, thank you so much!

We rented all three cottages for the family to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday. Marie and her husband were very welcoming. The pool, hot tub and garden were great, so good that the grand and great-grandchildren just wanted to stay at the cottages. We made good use of the BBQ and the ourdoor eating space, and the large living room was just big enough for all of us to play games in when it got a bit chilly. Lovely views over the fields where we saw several muntjac deer.

Relaxing retreat in Louth

Bank holiday weekend away with 12 adults, 7 children and 2 dogs.Each cottage was clean and fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom equipment. The bedrooms were all of a good size and there was plenty of communal space with a dining table and sofas in each.The pool was clean and the hot tub was a hit! There was plenty of land to excercise the dogs and the children!!The hosts were accommodating without being overbearing. All in all a great break had by all and I would recommend highly

I’m Marie, originally from Edinburgh, and I’ve always been drawn to places that feel peaceful, creative and close to nature. I’ve spent a lot of time painting and enjoying art, and I suppose I’ve always been chasing that feeling of calm inspiration you get when you’re somewhere really beautiful and still.

That’s a big part of why I became a host. I wanted to create a space where other people could experience that same feeling - somewhere families and friends could slow down, properly switch off, and just enjoy being together without distractions. Life can be so busy, and I loved the idea of offering a place that feels a bit like pressing pause.

When I first came across the Lincolnshire Wolds, I completely fell for it - the open skies, the quiet, the sense of space. Fieldview Holidays grew from that love of the landscape and the simple joy of sharing it with others.

Now I really enjoy welcoming guests who are coming together for all sorts of reasons - celebrations, reunions, or just time away - and knowing they’re making memories in a place I care deeply about.

Fieldview Holidays began as a simple idea: to create a place where families and friends could come together, slow down and enjoy uninterrupted time in the countryside.

Set within 3 acres of peaceful Lincolnshire land, the site has grown into a private retreat made up of 3 cottages, designed specifically for group stays where people want both space and connection.

Over time, we’ve welcomed multi-generational families, celebration groups, returning guests and those simply looking to step away from busy everyday life.

What guests consistently tell us is how rare it feels to find somewhere that offers both privacy and togetherness — enough room for everyone to relax, while still sharing meals, laughter and time together under one roof (or across a few).

We take pride in offering a calm, well-kept and welcoming space, and we’re always nearby if needed, while giving guests complete freedom to enjoy the property at their own pace.

What makes Fieldview Holidays unique, for me, is the feeling of space and togetherness it offers at the same time.

It’s not just one house, it’s 3 cottages set within 3 acres of peaceful Lincolnshire countryside, which means groups can come together but still have their own space when they need it. That balance is something I really wanted to create, because I know how important it is when families or friends travel together.

You get exclusive use of the whole site, including the pool, hot tub and gardens, so it feels private and relaxed rather than shared or crowded. I’ve always loved the idea of people being able to truly switch off; no noise, no pressure, just countryside, fresh air and time together.

For me, it’s that combination of privacy, flexibility and calm surroundings that makes it feel special.
