About this property

Newly Remodeled-2 Masters & 2 Gathering Areas. Hot Tub. Walk to Town

This 4 bedroom comfortable and welcoming detached 2400 SF home has lots of mountain ambience and attention to detail, comfort and your convenience. It works well for both large and small groups. There are views of the mountains from several windows. The main floor living area includes a wood burning fireplace with wood provided, lots of windows, and high ceilings. There is an adjacent spacious dining area with a large expandable table. Upstairs is a newly constructed 20 x 20 great room with a gas fireplace, wet bar, and large screen TV. The house has been recently updated with all new doors and flooring throughout. There are four bedrooms (two kings -- both upstairs) , 2 queens, & a set of bunk beds -- both main floor) and a pleasant living room area that walks out onto a deck, gas fired grill, and a private hot tub. In addition to three bathrooms, 2 of the 4 bedrooms have private sinks which allows several guests to get ready at once in the mornings. There are 3 TV's with DVD's available and also high speed internet access.

Our fully equipped kitchen includes spices, hot chocolate, teas, salad dressings, flour, sugar, and several condiments. A breakfast bar seats 3 and dining table expands to seat 12. The two car attached garage will safely store your skis, bikes or fishing poles. The driveway can easily handle four additional vehicles. Our summer and falls guests will enjoy our flagstone patio area with a table, chairs and fire pit. Be sure to read our guest comments -- all of which have been posted by guests themselves. We have never had a negative comment and have regular repeat guests. We are walking distance (3 blocks)to many shops & casual or fine dining and to the free Summit Stage Shuttle which will take you to Keystone, Copper or Breckenridge. Vail, A-Basin and Loveland are about a 20 - 25 min. drive. A very nice park, stream, and bike path are 1 block away. We have bikes and games available for your use. If you visit in the summer or fall, we can provide a list of some of our favorite activities. No matter what season it is, you'll love this place and this delightful, relaxed, friendly town. We are about 1 mile to Walmart and Safeway and Starbucks (but walking distance to other coffee shops!!) and 4 miles to Outlet Malls in Silverthorne.

Other Info: 1) Our home is not an option for any long term rentals. 2) There are two outside security cameras located in the front of the property to monitor gas delivery, cleaning and maintenance people. One is located above the garage; the other is by the front door under the overhang.

Our hope is that our home on Creekside feels as welcome and comfortable as your own home. Everything you see is for your use, comfort, relaxation and enjoyment. We have first aid supplies, extra toiletries in case you forgot yours, and even extra jackets and sweatshirts for the unexpected cooler weather. We hope your find everything just as your expected and either return or tell your friends and family about our place.

Always a Great Stay

Our family has stayed in Barb’s house several times since 2010, both summer and winter, and we have never been disappointed. There is plenty of room for adults to relax and visit after a busy day outside, and the upstairs room provides such a fun space for the kids of all ages to gather and make many fun memories. The kitchen is well-appointed for a rental, the dining table is perfect for large family meals, and the hot tub is a huge bonus. Go have some family fun!

Perfect spot for our family of 7 on a ski trip. We utilized both living spaces. The beds were perfect for our group. The house is stocked with everything we needed and many more things. If we wanted something, we just had to do a bit of a search through the cabinets. Location was fantastic. An easy walk to downtown Frisco. While we didn't utilize the bus, we did see the bus stops.

Frisco Ski Gang

We wanted a place that was central to all the Epic ski mountains and also to downtown Frisco and this was perfect. We skied 6 days - Keystone and Breckenridge were 15-20 minutes and Vail and Beaver Creek were 30 - 40 minutes away. Easy walk in to town for dinner and shops. The 2 master bedrooms were spacious and luxurious. The 2 downstairs bedrooms shared a bathroom but having a vanity and sink in one of the bedrooms made sharing the bathroom much easier. We cooked in a few nights and had all the pots and pans - and dishes needed. The hot tub on the deck was easy to access and much appreciated after a day on the slopes. Check in and check out was smooth and great communication with the host. I highly recommend this house for a week - or more in Frisco.

Beautiful house in a spectacular location. A five minute walk to downtown Frisco.

As we rented this pre-Covid.... we were unsure if the trip would occur as situation was continually evolving. Owner was very supportive of the possibility of last minute cancellation.

Lovely choice

This was a great rental. It really felt like home - You can tell the people use it for their own use. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The owner went above and beyond to provide a good experience. Nice hot tub. Comfortable beds. Only slight downsides were expected - no real views, just two bathrooms, and slightly farther from the bus stop than you can really walk in ski boots (though we did walk to town in our street shoes for dinners). You won't regret renting this place.

Spring Skiing

The house is great. The two living rooms works great, as we had two small families and another couplee. The kids had a room to themselves. The renovated great room really has everything you could want. The location is perfectly situated for skiing Summit County. We skied at Copper and A Basin. Copper is super close. We wanted to take the shuttle, but it never happened. The shuttle stops are a short walk from the house. The downtown ares of Frisco is also a short walk, and Frisco is cool old mining town with plenty of bars, shops, etc. We had a warm spring day and took advantage of the patio and cooked on the grill. It also dumped 15 inches of snow while we were there! So the rest is all semantics. Would defintely choose this house again if I am in the area. If your skiing in April, the eleveation of the ski areas in Summit County give you the best chance of good conditions.

The house was very attractive and comfortable. We enjoyed the location since it is within walking distance to Main Street and hiking trail heads. Frisco is convenient to all of the other towns in Summit County via the bike path as well as by automobile. The house has sufficient space for relaxing since there are 2 living rooms. One more bathroom would be nice for 10 people, but it works OK. Another much-used amenity was the Wi-Fi, which worked perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed, although we didn't do any major meal preparation. The hot tub was enjoyed mainly by the youth in the group. The beds were all comfortable. My only criticism is the closeness of the neighbors and the lack of a view of the mountains. No window coverings in the 1st floor sitting area made it a bit less comfortable due to a lack of privacy..

Spring Skiing Vacation

The house was well equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable week of skiing and relaxing. We especially liked the comfortable upstairs living area with plenty of room for games, puzzles, and family movies. The house was as described in the listing with plenty of room for our family of 8. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The owner, Barb, was responsive when contacted and allowed both early check-in and late check-out. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We bought this home in 2006. We have 3 adult children and 10 grandchildren (ages 1 - 25) who love coming up here. I am a native of Colorado and believe that this is one of the best areas in the state as it is only one hour from our Denver home, but is central to 5 ski areas for winter use. We can tell you about our favorite sledding hills and cross county skiing/snow shoeing areas. It is also gorgeous in the summer and has the full amenities of biking, hiking, fishing, and all the activities which Summit County offers.

Why they chose this property

We sometimes pinch ourselves for finding what we think is the perfect location. We have easy access to I-70 and 5 ski areas!! We are just a couple of blocks from Main Street, but are in a nice area with great neighbors. We can walk anywhere, are right by a great park, a beautiful creek, access to the bike path, and have a view!! Frisco is just a delightful, charming and friendly town.

What makes this property unique

When we bought this house, it already had mountain ambience with the pine cabinets and pine trim. In late 2017, we finished a 625 SF addition and significant remodel. We have worked hard to decorate it so that you would feel very comfortable, could relax, and not worry about 'fussy' accents. My parents owned a rental vacation home in the Rocky Mountains for 20 years prior to us buying this home, so we know what we needed to do to accommodate our guests. We take a lot of pride in our home and are just hoping you feel blessed here and that your 'soul' is refreshed and restored. There's just something about the privacy of a home (vs. a condo) and having a two car garage where you can safely store your skis, bikes, fishing poles, or ??? We have never had a negative comment from a guest and have several repeat guests.
