Ensuite Master bedroom Double bed in a well appointed room with plenty of hanging and storage space and a well fitted ensuite bath room with a bath and over bath shower.

Upstairs bedroom This room is in the beamed eaves (low beams) with twin beds which can also be a superking double, bedside cabinets, easy chair and canvas wardrobe. Small window level with the floor opens up with a view down into the gravelled area at the back of the barn.
ALL ABOUT THE OUTSIDE:
Rooster Barn is at the end of a private gravel drive and accessed through the wooden 7 bar gate with extra mesh backing to stop small dogs escaping. Park and shut the gate and you can safely let the dogs out into the enclosed garden.
Double doors from the living room open out onto a lovely south facing patio and a gravelled area. It is separated from but connected to the parking and large grass paddock area. The whole of the property is gated and well fenced around the perimeter with a combination of post and rail fencing with stock mesh (smaller at the bottom to stop very small dogs squeezing through), solid fence panels and a mix of fencing plus planting. At the lowest point it is approx 4ft. but solid.
Rooster Barn grounds are mature and include an attractive but robust planting of shrubs and hedge plants. The main garden is laid to lawn with plenty of space for your dogs to exercise in a safe and secure space.

We had a week in Rooster Barn and really loved it - it's a quiet location but close to many great Norfolk locations. Very well stocked for guests and doggies alike, with a great secure garden - our 4 Galgos loved running around in it and we had no worries about them getting out.
We'll definitely be back!

Peaceful break
Nice property in a lovely, quaint village, 5 mins walk from village pub. Handy location for visiting other villages and beaches. Very well equipped with kitchen 'stuff' (including washing machine and pegs for the whirly), books, games, dvds etc. Plenty space to park right outside the barn in the garden. Looking rather tired inside and feel that quality of bedding and towels could be a lot better. That said, it was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

The perfect place
Our fourth stay in an ERC property, and yet again it was perfect. Rooster Barn is so peaceful, homely and the perfect base to enjoy Norfolk. Lots of country walks from the front door, also only a 5 minute drive (40 minute walk) to the beach at Mundesley.
Everyone we met in Trunch was so friendly.
Everything you could need is provided, and the barn is super clean. The welcome goodies are perfect.
We had glorious weather so made good use of the garden space and courtyard.
Our dog also loved the garden, but also cooling off on the tiled floor when hot.
We will be back . Thank you ERC.

Wow!
Our first reaction when arriving at Rooster Barn was 'wow!'. We closed the gate behind us and let the dogs out into a large and safe garden. The barn is beautiful and full of homely touches. It really is dog friendly too.
The village location is lovely and peaceful. Friendly bar staff are ready to welcome you in the pub. There are lots of dog friendly pubs and cafes in the area. Go to Bacton woods and then Watsons for breakfast!
My only slight negative is the staircase. It's quite tricky unless sure footed (but our daughter slept upstairs).

Lovely, comfortable stay
Delightful stay at such a lovely cosy cottage. The wood burner created a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings. Everything you could need with the extra benefits of driving in and closing the gate, knowing when you let the dog out he was safe. Fabulous location to visit Northwest Norfolk.

Comfortable relaxing stay
We had a lovely relaxing stay and very much appreciated the goodie welcome pack. This was one of most dog friendly places we have stayed in, so well thought out with extra towels, poop bags, crates, food bowls covering all the pets needs. Nicely furnished, kitchen well equipped, comfortable bed, fab WiFi, lots of visitor sites info, plenty of of board games, well written manuals for function of the whole house, good sized secure front and back garden for our 2 small reactive rescue dogs. Location was perfect to get around to see so many sites, beaches, close by to many woods, parks all very dog friendly, walking distance to local pub. Great area for wildlife, we saw many sightings of Chinese Water Deer, Muntjac deer, pheasants and lots of hares all roaming freely in the fields and mashes nearby. Thank you!

The most dog friendly barn ever
Beautiful barn in great location. Warm comfortable, everything had been considered to make our stay perfect for dogs and humans. The underfloorheating was a great hit with the dogs and they also loved the outside areas. We will be back but we know we will need to book asap.

Yet another glorious Christmas Break at Rooster Barn
This must be our 4th Christmas at Rooster Barn; the 5th did not happen because the barn was already booked, and we stayed at New Year's Eve.
It is always such a wonderful time here, beautifully decorated and very atmospheric. Cosy, warm and welcoming.
The surroundings are a delight, and Happisburgh beach is only about a 10-minute drive away.
I should not give too much praise, as I may jeopardise future stays. The barn is very popular and will no doubt be more so.
A wonderful home from home for our dogs and us! Next visit in May, we cannot wait...

Dog friendly heaven
We just spent 5nts at Rooster Barn with our 3 little dogs and what a wonderful time we had. The barn and garden were just perfect for us all, we also took our elderly mother who loved it just as much. The area is in a quiet location but easy access to explore Norfolk.
The welcome pack was a lovely and generous touch and enjoyed by everyone.
We will deffo be returning to one of your properties in the near future for some more relaxation time xx

Rooster Barn- A late summer booking
Lovely location, very peaceful, but in a central location for visiting both coast and countryside. Lots of walks available from the cottage, along with lots a short car ride away. Very good welcoming pack for both humans and dogs. As dogs are allowed everywhere, it is the first time I've gone away with our dog and not had to worry about where she was going or sitting. A very secure garden, full fenced, so no worries there either.

Lovely converted barn - comfortable, spacious, 'home from home'. A great place to stay
We loved our stay at Rooster Barn - Rooster barn has a beautiful interior, is well equipped and has all comforts for a relaxing stay. The beach and nice walks are nearby, along with great places to eat. The barn has plenty of resources for people wanting to self cater. It has an outside area for eating in fine weather and is really great for dogs, as the outside space is enclosed with a gate. Highly recommended - we plan to return.
