About this property

A good morning of sunshine begins with you being here and not there.

Our condo is in family friendly Horizon South located on the very desirable quiet west side of Panama City Beach. Beach access 100 feet from the property entrance putting you only minutes from enjoying the beautiful white sand beaches of Panama City Beach. If you like to swim, we have four large pools (One heated) during winter months, a large outdoor hot tub that I absolutely love and a kiddie pool that you will like for the little ones in your family.
Other amenities include tennis court, Pickleball court, pool table, 18-hole lighted golf putting course and shuffleboard courts. Horizon South is in the process of completing a new larger exercise room with all new workout equipment in the main building that should be operational by late July 2024.

You will be close to the area attractions at a great value for your getaway vacation. Our gated community is located less than two miles from shopping at Pier Park, Aaron Bessant Park, Frank Brown Park. You will also be very close to many attractions such as Wonderworks, Gulf World Marine and championship golf courses. If this is your first visit to Panama City Beach, you will truly enjoy everything that is offered on the Emerald Coast of Florida and “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches” featuring beautiful white sugar sand. You just don’t have that on the Atlantic Coast.
Your vacation condo features a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and Samsung 65” Smart Television with Roku. You will have available drip and K-cup type coffee maker to add to your morning delight. Sunrise on the patio is exceptional. So, take your coffee outside and enjoy. Do you like to grill? You will have an outdoor charcoal grill for cooking delicious smoked foods.
If you have questions during your stay, guess what? We are right there for you as onsite owners and only a phone call away. We want you and your family to create a wonderful memory and sincerely appreciate having you as our guest.
Our condo has a king bed in the downstairs, smart TV and two queen beds upstairs and smart TV.
The kitchen is well stocked if you desire to prepare a meal or two. Electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator/freezer.
Living room has a couch and loveseat and chairs.
Dining room seats four and has available a table leaf insert providing more table space.
Horizon South is a gated condominium complex and gate code will be provided before your arrival. We have entries and exits off both Front Beach Road and US Highway 98 (Also known as the Panama City Beach Parkway). We are one of very few complexes that have this conveniency access.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Checkout is no later than 10:00am as cleaning staff arrives promptly. Notify owner upon leaving via VRBO site or text message.
Place all used dishes & coffee basket in dishwasher, soap & start wash cycle. Leave all used towels in the downstairs bathtub Leave all unmade beds intact. Remove all trash and take bags to compactor.
Adjust thermostat to 75 summer/65 winter. Check all drawers for clothes and personal items and outlets for charging items. Thank you for being our guest!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
• This is a non-smoking condo. If you smoke inside the condo we reserve the right to add a surcharge on the damage deposit we have received.

My family stayed for a week and the condo was beautiful. It had everything we needed including pool toys, chairs, a beautiful patio, heated pools, and spacious rooms. Only minor issue was we ran out of trash bags and towels but not even enough to complain about. Overall we had a great stay!!!!

I did not like the surprise 20 band for each guest that stays and 25 parking tag. That’s on top of what you pay in booking fees and the stay, etc… That was no where listed that requirement when we booked. Construction is a nightmare, we found out about it the day of. Also, leaving in and out of the facility with traffic isn’t any better. Would come to Panama again, just not sure I would stay with horizon.

Enjoyed so much more!I have been using VRBO for 20 years.Communication started before we arrived in PCB. Gary took the time to ask when our flight arrival was. When we landed I received a message to let me know the condo was ready for self check in. This was a wonderful surprise!The condo is well stocked with everything you need for a day at the ocean... beach chairs, umbrellas a small cooler and wagon. The walk to the beach is easy and we also ate at a couple restaurants within walking distance. We recommend having the Volcano shrimp from Coconuts and lunch or dinner at McGuires Irish Pub.The condo was very clean and we felt safe staying at Horizon South!

PCB BASEBALL TOURNAMENT

Our host, Gary, was a very responsive host. Our stay was amazing. The condo was perfect for our family, very clean and spacious, which was only a short walk across the street to the beach. The beds were comfortable. Our host had fully equipped the kitchen and bathroom with all items needed. A BBQ grill was also located on the patio for our use and beach items were located in the outside closet. The amenities for the resort were tremendous, four swimming pools, hot tub, tennis court, and miniature golf. The resort is centrally located near many shopping areas and restaurants I highly recommend Gary’s condo for your family.

Horizon South - Wonderful Experience

We were very pleased with our overall monthly long stay at Horizon South. Condo was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The owner, Gary, was awesome to deal with and made sure our stay was pleasant. Any requests were handled immediately. I would rate the condo 9 out of 10. The only glitch with Horizon South was the pools. Only one pool is heated and there was an ongoing problem with the pool heater.During the month I was only able to use the pool two times. Other folks commented that the pool heater not working has been an ongoing issue every year for quite some time. Hopefully the pool heater issue can be resolved on a permanent basis as this is a deterrent for guests. Thank you.

July 4th stay

Everything was perfect. The condo was exactly has described the weather although extremely hot was perfect the beach was beautiful has always water calm and that beautiful turquoise color. The pool at the condo was great and the hot tub was great. Gary was a awesome host for are family. We hope to rent the same condo next summer.

We absolutely loved our stay at this rental unit. It was perfect for our needs. Great location, very clean, nice furnishings. The one small surprise was that we hadn't planned on having to spend an extra $20 per person to use the facilities (pool, mini golf, tennis courts, etc.)...it is a mandatory fee that isn't included in the rental. This was no fault of the owners/hosts who were extremely nice and helpful.

This condo was perfect for our family! It was very clean and Gary was very organized and detailed in all communication regarding our stay. this is Gary, my wife Deb and I are happy to be owners of this property. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, clean home away from home for you and your family to enjoy your vacation. We like to travel as much as we can and love beach vacations and especially Panama City Beach and we live onsite. What makes this property special to us is the close proximity to the beach that we can easily walk to in less than 5 minutes. We enjoy the morning sun that shines brightly on the private fenced outdoor patio while sipping on a hot cup of my morning coffee, while contemplating daily activities. Panama City Beach has so much to offer families. The gulf coast is known as the emerald coast which means you have beautiful white sand beaches across the street to enjoy. You have great restaurants to sample as well as excellent shopping and nightlife all within a few miles of the condo. What is not to enjoy about all that?

Why they chose this property

Panama City Beach has so much to offer for young families and when the day is over Horizon South offers even more including: four swimming pools, one kiddie pool, large hot tub, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, miniature putting golf course, all new equipment in workout room and of course the beach. The location on the west side of Panama City Beach is what many vacationers have called "quiet and peaceful" with easy access in and out. You can take advantage of all the family activities in and around the area and when you return you have a home away from home to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Our condo property gives you a comfortable place to relax when the day is done. The patio and charcoal grill allow you to grill delicious smoked foods when not visiting many of the local restaurants at Panama City Beach. The two-story concept makes you feel like you are in a larger home. it is a cozy layout and a great atmosphere for enjoying family time.
