No se le puede pedir más.

Casa con todo lo necesario y más. Camas muy cómodas, aire en las habitaciones, todo tipo de menaje necesario.... En fin, no nos ha faltado de nada. A un paseo del pueblo y muy bien situado para visitar Algarve. Las vistas son maravillosas desde sus terrazas, la puesta de sol nos cautivó. Recomiendo totalmente.

Comunicación muy fluida con el profesional inmobiliario y muy amabler. La casa es más grande lo esperado y la piscina es un plus que se agradece infinito, con varias tumbonas. Esta muy cerca del Guadiana lo cual está muy bien. Hay aires acondicionados en casi todas las habitaciones, asi que bien para dormir, los del salon no funcionan pero hay ventiladores que hacen su trabajo. No es una zona de calor, corre brisa. Hay varias terrazas, la verdad que son de 10. La cocina está muy bien equipada, no falta de nada, ojo, cerrar bien la nevera! Tiene wifi potente, yo me lleve un stick googleTV ya que no se cogen muchos canales por la tdt. En general muy satisfecho con el alojamiento.

Family holiday

We had a fabulous time at this wonderful home. There were 6 adults and 2 children and there was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. We all enjoyed the pool, especially the children. The owner Albert was extremely helpful and answered any queries very promptly. Would recommend the house and location, even the great workout from the hill up to the property.

No longer in it's prime

We enjoyed our stay in the Ayamonte property, Albert was very attentive and easy to communicate with when issues arose. Unfortunately due to a lack of maintenance and cleaning there were many reasons to communicate. Reviews from 2017 and 2018 made the property sound very promising but time has not been kind. The sheets and bedding were in poor condition and not recently cleaned for our arrival, we cleaned everything ourselves; same for the bathrooms and kitchen. The terraces were extremely dirty and unwelcoming, the outdoor furniture was in poor repair as were the awnings over the terraces. The kitchen once reviewed as well stocked, now only has dishes, cutlery and pots/pans. Anything else you must supply: dish detergent, dishwasher tabs, garbage/bin bags, etc..... also no sugar, no spices/herbs from past renters to help get new renters started. Albert was able to arrange some food for us for the first morning as we were arriving late at night, this was extremely welcomed by us. The air conditioning also failed after 2 nights and took a week to fix; Albert was very helpful during the entire period and kept us up to date but sleeping was uncomfortable and this also soured some of the vacation time there. On the other hand the pool was excellent, obviously it is well maintained and kept; our family enjoyed quite a bit of time in and around the pool. I wish I could report a better review, I really want to; but it would not be fair to other renters to gloss over the cleanliness and lack of maintenance.

Beautiful house in lovely location

Great communication from the owner both by email and phone and so helpful. The house is well equipped and spacious and has a fabulous view over the river to Portugal. The swimming pool was much used and enjoyed. Ayamonte is a lovely town with lots of great places to eat.

Heerlijke plek om te zijn

Perfecte locatie zeer dicht bij de brug tussen Spanje en Portugal, aan de rand van het centrum van Ayamonte. De mooiste zonsondergang. Prima buurt! De papieren omschreven heel nauwkeurig en uitgebreid wat er waar allemaal te doen en te zien was. Zeer mooie uitvalsbasis voor wie van zowel zuid Portugal als zuid Spanje houdt.

pas prévu pour l'hiver

Tout d'abord je tiens à préciser que le propriétaire est super. très à l'écoute et toujours dispo pour faire le nécessaire lorsqu'il y a un problème. Et nous en avons eu. Il a beaucoup plus pendant notre séjour, et le problème est que l'eau s'infiltrait dans les pièces. Nous avons choisi cette villa parce qu'elle avait 2 chambres avec un grand lit. La première nuit, une des 2 chambres a été inondée, et il a fallu aller dans une petite chambre, sans chauffage avec une salle de bains sans chauffage elle non-plus et sans aménagement pour ranger les affaires de toilettes. La femme de ménage devait nous apporter un petit meuble, mais nous ne l'avons jamais vue. D'autre part, c'est assez minimaliste au niveau de l'équipement. Une cuisine avec de très grands placards mais peu sont pleins. D'autre part, aucun isolation phonique. Nous avons eu la malchance d'avoir un voisin qui faisait des travaux, et c'était des coups de marteau jusqu'à 1 h du matin, et du bruit à longueur de journée. Rien de tel pour gâcher les vacances. Cette villa est certainement très bien pour l'été, mais pas pour l'hiver.

Todos los años vamos un grupo de amigos de vacaciones relajadas a una casa con piscina. La casa es tal cual el anuncio, incluso con sorpresas buenas. La piscina es grande para refrescarte, la barbacoa está genial y cuenta con un pequeño frigorífico, lavaplatos y fregadero en la planta baja. La casa es perfecta para vacaciones, para repetir.

Gostámos imenso da nossa estadia nesta excelente propriedade em Ayamonte. As condições da propriedade são boas e os equipamentos funcionais e modernos. O sítio é sossegado e com uma vista linda sobre o Guadiana, servindo perfeitamente como oásis da confusão do centro de Ayamonte e das praias. A única coisa que não gostámos foi da limpeza incompleta dos armários nas várias divisões, mas o proprietário foi bastante atencioso em relação ao problema. Iremos certamente voltar!

Relaxing in Ayamonte

Lovely house and excellent location along the river. A bit hilly on way to supermarket but still do-able for an unfit late 50 odd! No car necessary, easy walk into town where it is lovely and authentic Spanish. Ferry over to Portugal fast and easy. Perfect house for doing absolutely nothing but lay by the pool, read, watch tv, enjoy relaxing lunches, have dinner on the terrace watching the sun go down. Despite the traumas of returning to Luton airport I am still feeling totally relaxed. Thank you Claire.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

An der Wegbeschreibung sollte man arbeiten. Wir hatten Probleme das Haus zu finden da eine Teilstrecke abgesperrt ist.Es gibt eine einfache Zufahrt ab dem ersten Kreisverkehr wenn man von der Autobahn kommt. Sonst alles Top. Der Pool hat, insbesondere den Kindern, riesigen Spass bereitet und die Terrasse mit eingebauten Blick auf den Guadiana und Sonnenuntergang sind Klasse.

Great house with great facilities in close proximity to a proper Spanish town

The house, with its four bedrooms and four bathrooms, was ideal for our group of four elderly golfing friends whom could enjoy appropriate privacy as needed, but could also enjoy a large inter connected kitchen, dining an living area with a large balcony overlooking the Guadiana River across go Portugal. We found the old town of Ayamonte to be a friendly place with a mixture of bars and restaurants within a few hundred yards of the property and others, perhaps more typically catering for tourists in the two main squares and close to the harbour. We used both and found proprietors a locals to be most welcoming. This is a proper Spanish town close to a variety of golf courses, some of the resort type generally found on the Algarve but others with a much more relaxed feel much enjoyed by we four, recreational golfers. All easily accessible from Faro airport only 40 minutes away by hired car. An added bonus was that Jason who greeted us on arrival was also able to furnish us with hire electric and pull golf trolleys. He also hires out golf clubs! Worth knowing in advance of booking flights!

Fabulous stay

Myself husband 3 children in their twenties and spouses had a fabulous time at the villa, the pool although not huge was sufficient for a cool down and the villa was immaculate and well maintained. Larger than the photos suggest. Claire was great from the first enquiry answering all questions. Jason met us at the villa in the evening we had directions and got a taxi from Faro. We did not hire a car and found Ayamonte a lovely town with numerous bars and restaurants, the walk took approx 10-15 mins turn right from villa and then left and follow the road almost straight into town. We used the El Jamon supermarket which was about 5 mins walking. We took the ferry across to Portugal which was a nice trip but other than that we relaxed by the pool and had lovely food and drink and family time. I would highly recommend.

Exactly as pictured and stated

When we arrived we were bowled over by the accuracy of the description and details. Large clean modern town house with charming wall pictures that gave a homely feel. Every where was immaculate. Although there were many stairs and the access to and from the town of Ayamonte was a fair walk, we managed very well considering our senior years. The spectacular view of the river and Portugal opposite was awe inspiring. We certainly will be returning in the very near future.
