Stayed here at least 5 times! Love the location, view and listening to the waves crash!I suggest a second hook in master bathroom so both guests can hang individual toiletry bags..only 1 hook in bathroom now....plus a few hanging shelves would make the bathroom use much more favorable!

Ocean Front Haven

We have been visiting the central coast for 20+ years and we love the little town of Cayucos. This property did not disappoint and waking up to the ocean for the week was so refreshing. The location is perfect for a stroll on the beach and into town. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house.

Beachy Beach House

The view from the balcony is the most outstanding of any place I've ever stayed. I couldn't take my eyes off that glorious ocean right below the house for a long time. The house is very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was nice. Beds were comfortable. In a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. I would definatily go back.

Overpriced

Beautiful views and nice location close to town. However, the place is small, there is no private stairs to the beach, the property is located on a narrow spot on the beach and because of the high tide there was no beach. The couch and chairs are the most uncomfortable I’ve ever sat in. We love Cayucos and the views but because of the items mentioned above this place is way overpriced.

We rented both the upstairs property and the downstairs for a family reunion over thanksgiving-Great kitchens, though minimal dishes,drinking glasses ,silverware for 12 people-The toilet in the hall didn’t refill,so had to be done manually. we didnt report it while there, because it was manageable-just FYI! The one thing I would say was that there is a lot of noise from upstairs to downstairs! the previous tenants warned us, but it isnt insulated and should be considered! Great stay in Cayucos as always! Location,location,location! amazing.

Title

Within 15 minutes of arriving I called both VRBO and Vacasa and said we could not stay and requested another place to stay or a refund. I was told there is no other place to stay. My wife is disabled and it took us 45 minutes to get her up the property steps with extreme difficulty. It was not safe for her so we stayed overnight and left the next morning.Id like a refund!

Epitome of the Beach Cottage!

We loved this place. The location is the best, the view of the ocean is so accessible from throughout the living room, kitchen, bedroom and deck. The style is wonderfully curated beach cottage decor that seems very organic. Fun nautical/marine items and pictures that are interesting seem like a real family collection. The kitchen was in great working order and was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of covers. The couch and chair cushions could be softer. Close to beach access and to Downtown. Snatch this place up if you can get it.

Upstairs oceanfront

I give 5 stars for the Vacasa people who we had to deal with for this stay. We rented upper and lower portions of this house. Within hours of our arrival we noticed two very loose upper deck bannister spindles that were a big safety concern with young children. The people who came out and the people on the phone were all nice and helpful! However, the utensils were only enough for six and we had to rewash forks and spoons for each meal.

The views are spectacular. Every day we saw either Whales ,or Dolphins swimming by . I would not recommend a long stay . If your looking for a good night sleep and a comfortable stay. you won't find it here. The beds and pillows are hard. and living room furniture is wicker patio furniture. Kind of sad for being such a nice location.

This was a fantastic location for our family of 4. The access to the beach was so convenient and there’s a little park/playground 1/2 block away. The home was so charming and comfortable, and I can’t imagine a better view!

Million dollar views. The house was very clean. Only complaint which has been expressed in many other reviews is the sofa and chairs. It’s impossible to get comfortable even for a minute. They’ve placed plywood under the cushions, I’m assuming in an attempt to firm up the seating. Now it feels like you’re sitting on plywood and the cushions slide out from under you within a couple minutes. I still rated five stars because of the views and well equipped kitchen. But this place would be six stars out of five if they just took a week’s rent and invested in a few pieces of furniture.

Great Location

Loved the location which overlooks the beach from the 2nd floor. Place was very clean and decorated with a lovely Ocean theme. Only recommendation is to get some more comfortable furniture, chairs in living room and kitchen and beds were all hard.
