Located in the town of Los Osos (10 minutes from San Luis Obispo), and at the foot of Montana De Oro state park, "Kiss the Sea Ranch" is a lovely home with lots of windows and outside areas to enjoy the views from every angle. The Owner has spent an extraordinary amount of time to make this large home the perfect retreat for families, couples, or small groups. This very special property is adjacent to the stunningly beautiful Montana de Oro State Park. Close to wildlife you do need to be aware of your surroundings. You may walk down the road toward the beach to the sand dunes or you may drive the small distance as well. There are many brilliant trails for hiking or biking. Owner has sleds for the sand dunes, towels and beach toys. This location is a true paradise for outdoor aficionados or you can stay inside and relax by the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The location is just South of Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals and Big Sur. We are only 20 minutes to downtown San Luis Obispo known for its great Thursday night Farmer's Market, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Occupied Granny Unit on premises. The unit is below the back bedrooms. Tenant is rarely home.

Family fun!

We are often in Los Osos as our son and family live there. This home was perfect for a family gathering to celebrate a birthday and for relaxation between performances of a musical that our granddaughter was in.The home is beautiful and has all the amenities needed. The views are spectacular and the ping pong table was a great hit.We look forward to another stay!

The manager is very responsive. We were without hot water the first day, because the tankless heater was disconnected from power. But the manager corrected the issue within hours. We had a great stay, hosting meals with 12 people, and exploring the many nearby attractions.

Beautiful house with great ocean views

This property is perfect place for a family getaway. Decorated beautifully, with great views overlooking the ocean and Morro Rock. Located close to many nice hiking trails, wineries, shopping, and much more!

Wonderful Los Osos home

The house was beautiful and perfect for family of two grandparents, two parents, kids 4 and 8. Fantastic views in a wild place. It was well-stocked with all we needed. The location was convenient to beaches, the town and the state park up the road. We highly recommend this home.

The house and the view was as advertised! Beautiful setting, it’s a good walk to the beach from the house but nothing to extreme. Thoroughly enjoyed the area.

Beautiful and Restful

The house was clean and beautiful. Perfect for my family looking for a restful trip! Great hiking trails abound and a short drive to easily accessible beaches if you don't want to walk the 20 minute walk over the sand dunes! Overall, a wonderful 5 days and a great first-time VRBO experience for us.

House was beautiful with a well furnished kitchen for our family cooked meals. View was exceptional we could see humpback whales in the ocean breaching!! Hiked out to the beach every day and mountain biked, hiked, and birded in Montana de Oro. Perfect stay for us.

Three decks with views of dunes, Morro Bay and Rock. Open floor plan - perfect for our family gathering. Best-equipped kitchen we've seen in a rental. Quality appliances and laundry. We also used the ping-pong table a lot!

Family Wedding

A lovely spacious house that we enjoyed with many different relatives and ages throughout our week there. Beautiful views when the fog cleared out. Long walks on the beach each day and explored Los Osos, Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo. A great spot for a family with stores and bakery near by. You do need a car to get around but everything is close.

Beautiful Property

This house is by far my favorite we’ve ever stayed at. Very quiet, clean and amazing views. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook and clean up with ease. All the beds were comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the fridge, but the property management were on it quick. Very accommodating.

Unplugged

The pictures match the location. It was the perfect place to unplugged from the hustle and bustle of everyday. The house is beautiful. The location is tranquil and close enough to town that a trip to store isn't a journey. My mom, who uses a walker, had no difficulty getting in and navigating throughout the house. Only the bed was a challenge, as they are tall. Thankfully we found a step stool to use. We had dinner in every night and spent time just enjoying our time together. Only did a few trips - Morro Bay and Sandpit Beach. Access to the beach from the house doable but challenging. Wish there were more available days when we booked because it would have been a longer stay.

It was a beautiful area, great home with comfortable beds. Awesome dining table for family meals and card games! The dune sledding was a bit tough, but the kids had a blast at the water and along the trail.

Just amazing

This place is spectacular. It is large and spacious. Great views of the ocean from the common spaces in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is one of the best equipped rentals we’ve ever used. Really close to some amazing hikes. We’re trying to figure out how to make this a yearly visit to this area and to this property.
