About this property

A California casita with rustic Alaskan accents. This cozy and fully stocked home is kid and dog friendly, features a hot tub, and has views of Morro Rock and the bay from the front yard.

A short bike ride to restaurants and situated on a dead end street to the Elfin Forest, perfect for sunset walks on the boardwalk. A few minute drive to the amenities of Los Osos and Morro bay, 15 minutes to Cal Poly, and 20 minutes to Edna Valley wine country.

Our home is a perfect place for family gatherings on sunny (and foggy) summer days, especially families who love to travel with their little ones and furry friends. We live in this house year round but rent it out occasionally when we are traveling. We have two young sons so there are lots of amenities for small tykes- a crib and pack n play, strollers, toys, etc. Don’t travel with it when you can just use ours!

Please note, this is our part time residence so the house is fully stocked with all things needed for a great getaway.

While we hope you enjoy your stay and celebrate in our home, we also expect that our guest respect the neighborhood and keep noise and parking to a minimum. This means no excessively barking dogs, no dogs left unattended, and no gatherings of 10 people or more. Please no cats, my husband is extremely allergic.

Great Spot in Los Osos

The Casita was perfect for our trip down for visiting our son at Cal Poly for his birthday. Surfing at the spit, walking in the elfin forrest and relaxing in the hot tub were highlights of the visit. Extra comfy couch and beds helped too. Thank you!

Adorable Home with Great Outdoor space

The home and outdoor space were perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Loved the decor and attention to detail inside & in the outdoor space. You can view Morro Rock from the front yard on the raised platform. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the back. Elfin Forrest is a very short walk from the house. We had great food and beer at Beerwood, a walkable restaurant that is dog friendly . The only complaint was that in the description, the walking distance to Morro Bay state park and Morro Estuary was listed as 4 minute walks but in reality would take a person over 1 hour to reach the entrances by foot. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

Nice place

Very comfortable, clean, and homey. Hot tub and fire pit were great. S'mores kits were also a nice touch. Owner was very responsive to queries. Nice quiet street. Easy drive to SLO and Morro Bay. Not inexpensive, but a great spot overall.

Great place for family and fur babies

The Casita at Baywood was the perfect place for our family. The layout of the house allows for indoor/outdoor living and relaxing 😎 We didn’t want to leave!! Kaylee was quick to offer recommendations and help whenever. We can’t wait to return ❤️

Good VRBO for a dog

Family reunion. Visit friends, escape the snow in Tahoe. The location is quiet, close to everything , Could upgrade in the glasses, dishes, and cooking pots and pans. Very used. But I would come back for sure.
